Abstract

Saat ini, kebutuhan jaringan internet, menjadi sebuah kebutuhan utama yang harus tersedia di kehidupan individu dan atau bisnis. Kita harus dapat menentukan pilah penyedia jasa layanan jaringan internet yang baik, dengan hatau kegagalan arapan kinerja kita dapat selalu di tingkatkan. Dibalik itu, bagi penyedia layanan internet harus dapat menjamin kebutuhan pengguna jasa dan bila terjadi kegagalan jaringan (Network downtime) merupakan bencana yang harus dihindari. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan jaringan yang lebih andal yang tidak rentan terhadap kegagalan jaringan. Guna mengatasi kegagalan jaringan, yaitu dengan membangun redundant link yang akan mengaktifkan jaringan cadangan jika terjadi pada jaringan utama terputus. Pemasangan kedua jaringan tersebut tersebut, di tambah dengan menerapkan metode failover pada router terpasang dapat menjadi solusi ketika terjadi network downtime. Disamping itu, penggunaan metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) yang memiliki tahapan Analisys, Design, Simulation Prototipe, Implementation, Monitoring dan Management, di tambah dengan pengujian White Penetration Test dan penggunaan aplikasi monitoring The Dude, dapat memastikan bahwa konfigurasi berjalan sesuai yang diinginkan. Implementasi dibuat dengan mengkoneksikan antara Data Center APJII dengan BTS sebagai jaringan yang disediakan penyedia layanan. We must be able to determine which internet network service providers are good, even if we fail, we hope that our performance can always be improved. On the other hand, internet service providers must be able to guarantee the needs of service users and in the event of a network failure (Network downtime) it is a disaster that must be avoided. For that, we need a more reliable network that is not vulnerable to network failures. In order to overcome network failures, namely by building networks that will activate the backup network if the main network is disconnected. Installing these redundant links, coupled with implementing the failover method on the installed router, can be a solution when network downtime occurs. In addition, the use of the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method which has the stages of Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototype, Implementation, Monitoring and Management, coupled with the White Penetration Test and the use of The Dude monitoring application, can ensure that the configuration goes as desired. . The implementation is made by connecting the APJII Data Center with the BTS as the network provided by the service provider.
