Abstract
The coil is the main component of the vehicle in the ignition system and to maintain the performance of the coil so that it functions properly, it is necessary to analyze it through a vibration test. In this study, vibration tests were carried out and analyzed using a new method, namely the Hilbert Transform. Vibration testing was carried out on a 1000 CC MPV vehicle with rotational variations of 800rpm, 1500rpm, 2500rpm and 3500rpm. Vibration testing is carried out using an Accelerometer sensor connected to the FFT Analyzer to measure the acceleration amplitude of the vibration. Then the data from the test results were analyzed using Matlab and Hilbert Transform. At a rotational speed of 1500rpm, the measurement results obtained on the engine appear the first shape mode at a frequency of 45 Hz with an amplitude of 1,223 mm/s2 under normal conditions. Whereas in abnormal conditions a shape mode appears at a frequency of 41 Hz with an amplitude of 1,944 mm/s2. In abnormal conditions it indicates the occurrence of a bearing defect, because it occurs at 4x rpm. Furthermore, at a rotational speed of 2500 rpm the measurement results show that the first shape mode appears at a frequency of 48 Hz with an amplitude of 2.256 mm/s2 in normal coil conditions. Meanwhile, in abnormal conditions, a frequency shape mode of 41 Hz appears with an amplitude of 4,176 mm/s2. In abnormal conditions it indicates the occurrence of losses, because it occurs at 2x rpm. Then an analysis was carried out using the Hilbert Transform, from the results of the Restoring Force rotational speed of 800rpm, it showed that the abnormal condition was y = −2.4
