Abstract

Letters are used to communicate other than that it is evidence of an event agenda or existing events with interested parties. The Ciledug Subdistrict Office, Kota Tangerang, divides letter grouping into two types, namely incoming and outgoing mail. Incoming letters are letters that come into agencies / institutions from outside, while outgoing letters are letters originating from Ciledug District which are intended for other agencies / institutions. The system for recording incoming and outgoing letters in Ciledug District, Tangerang City is still done manually or bookkeeping, therefore it is necessary to record letters and store letters with an information system so that archival documents can be organized neatly, precisely and in detail. The application design uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) method with Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. Surat digunakan untuk berkomunikasi selain itu merupakan bukti dari agenda suatu acara atau peristiwa yang ada dengan pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan. Kantor Kecamatan Ciledug Kota Tangerang membagi pengelompokan surat dalam dua jenis, yaitu surat masuk dan surat keluar. Surat masuk adalah surat yang masuk ke dalam instansi / lembaga dari luar, sedangkan surat keluar adalah surat yang berasal dari Kecamatan Ciledug yang ditujukan untuk instansi/lembaga lain. Sistem pencatatan surat masuk dan keluar pada Kecamatan Ciledug Kota Tangerang masih dilakukan secara manual atau pembukuan, maka dari itu dibutuhkan pencatatan surat dan penyimpanan surat dengan sistem informasi agar dokumen arsip dapat tertata dengan rapi, tepat dan terperinci. Perancangan aplikasi menggunakan dalam Metode UML (Unified Modelling Language) dengan Use Case Diagram, Activty Diagram, dan Class Diagram.
