Abstract

Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is an information system that is intended to manage employee data, such as the employee performance evaluation reports, calculation of salaries and other administrative needs. At PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) there is no centralized information system and cannot support such activities, so that the process of calculation of salaries and employee supervision requires considerable time capable of resulting in a lack of transparency between the company and the employees. To resolve the problem above, we propose the creation of HRIS application using waterfall method in order to speed up the administrative process, especially in calculating overtime pay so that the results issued are accurate able to minimize biased assessments of employee performance. Key words: Human Resource Information System (HRIS); Waterfall; Overtime Wages; Reward; Employees Performance Human Resource Information System (HRIS) merupakan suatu sistem informasi yang diperuntukkan untuk mengelola data karyawan, diantaranya yakni laporan evaluasi kinerja karyawan, perhitungan gaji, dan kebutuhan administratif lainnya. Pada PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) belum ada sistem informasi yang terpusat dan tidak dapat menunjang aktivitas tersebut, sehingga proses perhitungan gaji dan pengawasan karyawan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama mampu berakibat pada minimnya transparansi antara perusahaan dan para karyawan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah diatas, kami mengusulkan pembuatan aplikasi HRIS dengan metode waterfall agar dapat mempercepat proses administratif terutama pada perhitungan upah lembur agar hasil yang dikeluarkan akurat dan mampu meminimalisir adanya penilaian yang bias terhadap kinerja karyawan.
