Abstract
In transportation planning, one element of traffic that needs to be considered is pedestrians. One of the facilities provided for pedestrians is a pedestrian bridge (JPO). Pedestrians are a priority for safety, security and comfort aspects that must be considered. There is a center for souvenirs or snacks in the Pandanaran area and there are also tourist attractions and lots of illegal parking which causes congestion and disturbs pedestrians to pass, and pedestrian facilities have not been maximized so that a Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) is built in the Pandanaran area to make it easier for pedestrians walk comfortably and quietly. The research was conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The results of the study found that the characteristics of pedestrians for one week with the greatest current value occurred on Sundays with a value of 0.411 pedestrians / min / m, the fastest speed value on Monday was 52.205 m / min, and the densest density value for one week. namely on Sundays the amount of 0.0081 pedestrians / m². Based on the size of the flow of 30 minutes, the level of pedestrian service at the Pedestrian Pedestrian Bridge at the Pandanaran Parking Building Semarang is included in the service level category "A" which means there is free flow, the walking speed can choose, the convenience of passing other pedestrians, conflicts between pedestrians are not might happen. Keywords: Pedestrian characteristics, capacity, level of service Dalam perencanaan transportasi, salah satu unsur lalu lintas yang perlu diperhatikan adalah pejalan kaki (pedestrian). Salah satu sarana yang disediakan untuk pejalan kaki adalah jembatan penyebrangan orang (JPO). Pejalan kaki menjadi prioritas akan aspek keselamatan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan yang harus diperhatikan. Adanya pusat oleholeh atau jajanan didaerah Pandanaran dan juga terdapat tempat wisata serta banyaknya parkir liar yang menyebabkan kemacetan dan mengganggu pejalan kaki untuk melintas, lalu fasilitas pejalan kaki yang belum maksimal sehingga dibangun Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang (JPO) di kawasan Pandanaran agar memudahkan pejalan kaki berjalan dengan nyaman dan tenang. Penelitian dilakukan pada hari senin, rabu, sabtu, dan minggu. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa karakteristik pejalan kaki selama satu minggu dengan nilai arus yang paling besar terjadi di hari minggu dengan nilai 0,411 pejalan kaki/min/m, nilai kecepatan paling cepat pada hari senin sebesar 52,205 m/min, serta nilai kepadatan terpadat selama satu minggu yaitu pada hari minggu sebesar 0,0081 pejalan kaki/m². Berdasarkan besarnya arus 30 menitan, maka tingkat pelayanan pejalan kaki di Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang Gedung Parkir Pandanaran Semarang termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan “A” yang artinya erdapat arus bebas, kecepatan berjalan dapat memilih, kenyamanan untuk melewati pejalan kaki lain, konflik antar pejalan kaki tidak mungkin terjadi.
