Abstract
To complete the case study covering aspects of the overheating phenomenon occurring at the compressor, it is worth noting that the GA 45 Compressor is used as oil separator and oil and air container inside the Widuri Process platform production facility. Thermography is a predictive treatment method used to find an abnormal heat source in GA 45 compressor, so it can be analyzed / detected the presence or absence of overheating which is generally an early symptom of an equipment malfunction. The use of the original spare parts, the proper use of oil and preventive maintenance can also prevent the overheating phenomenon of the GA 45 compressor. The preventive maintenance consists of daily maintenance, 3 months maintenance, 6 months maintenance and annual maintenance which includes filter water, oil filter, oil separator and cooler. Keywords: compressor, overheating, maintenance, temperature, heat, lubricant Untuk menyelesaikan studi kasus yang mencakup aspek fenomena overheating yang terjadi pada kompresor, maka perlu diketahui bahwa Kompresor GA 45 digunakan sebagai pemisah minyak dan penampung minyak serta udara di dalam fasilitas produksi platform Widuri Process. Thermography adalah suatu metode perawatan prediktif yang digunakan untuk mencari sumber panas yang tidak normal pada kompresor GA 45, sehigga dapat dianalisa/dideteksi ada tidaknya overheating yang umumnya merupakan gejala awal suatu kerusakan peralatan. Pemakaian spare part asli, penggunaan oli yang tepat dan juga pemeliharaan preventif juga dapat mencegah terjadinya fenomena overheating pada kompresor GA 45. Pemeliharaan preventif tersebut terdiri dari pemeliharaan harian, pemeliharaan 3 bulan, pemeliharaan 6 bulan dan pemeliharaan tahunan yang meliputi air filter, oil filter, oil separator dan cooler.
