Abstract
Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) adalah transformasi lahir untuk menggantikan Badan Koordinasi Survei dan Pemetaan Nasional (BAKOSURTANAL) sebagai penuaian amanat pasal 22 Undang-Undang Nomor 4 Tahun 2011 tentang Informasi Geospasial (IG). UU ini disetujui Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia pada tanggal 15 April 2011 dan disahkan oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, pada tanggal 21 April 2011. Lahirnya BIG ditandai dengan ditandatanganinya Peraturan Presiden Nomor 94 tahun 2011 mengenai Badan Informasi Geospasial pada tanggal 27 Desember 2011. Dalam menjamin ketersediaan akses terhadap informasi geospasial yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, serta Menjamin ketersediaan akses terhadap informasi geospasial yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, serta mewujudkan penyelenggaraan informasi geospasial yang berdaya guna (efisien) dan berhasil guna (efektif) melalui kerja sama, koordinasi, integrasi, sinkronisasi, dan mendorong penggunaan informasi geospasial dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. maka dilihat dari aspek hukum, di pandang perlu untuk melakukan proses layanan dokumen hukum, Hasil pengamatan yang ada menunjukkan agar dapat memudahkan dan mempercepat pengolahan data,penyajian data yang tersistem. Dari masalah-masalah yang ada tersebut, penulis berinisiatif untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada kegiatan operasional tersebut. Sistem informasi yang dikembangkan akan meliputi kegiatan layanan dokumen hukum Metode pengembangan sistem informasi tersebut akan menggunakan metode berorientasi obyek. iii Dengan tersedianya sistem informasi tersebut, diharapkan Bagian Hukum Badan Informasi Geospasial dapat lebih mudah dalam mengelola arsip - arsip, dan meperoleh informasi lebih cepat dan akurat, serta mengurangi risiko terhadap kehilangan data.
