Abstract
Dashboard merupakan sebuah tampilan yang dibuat untuk menampilkan informasi dari basisdata agar dapat dibaca dengan mudah. Tampilan visualisasi dashboard yang tidak baik dapat membingungkan pembaca, bahkan pengguna dapat mengambil kesimpulan yang salah dari tampilan dashboard. Oleh karena itu dalam membuat dahboard dibutuhkan desain yang baik dan akses terhadap basisdata yang cepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, pada skripsi ini dilakukan analisis terhadap visualisasi dashboard penjualan mobil. Dashboard pada skripsi ini menggunakan metadata yang diambil dari basisdata yang digunakan untuk mempercepat proses pembuatan chart dalam dashboard. Dashboard akan dihasilkan dengan mengekstrak metadata. Salah satu metadata yang dapat digunakan adalah metadata deskriptif. Metadata deskriptif yang akan digunakan dalam pembuatan dashboard berfungsi untuk menyimpan atribut data, menampilkan desain yang baik pada dashboard, dan menyimpan perubahan visualisasi yang terjadi pada setiap chart dalam dahboard. Metadata untuk menyimpan atribut data berfungsi untuk menyimpan struktur data yang digunakan pada chart. Metadata untuk menampilkan desain yang baik berfungsi untuk menyimpan struktur metadata yang sesuai agar dapat menampilkan visualisasi dashboard yang baik. Sedangkan metadata untuk menyimpan perubahan visualisasi berguna untuk menyimpan segala perubahan yang dilakukan oleh user terhadap sebuah chart agar dapat menampilkan chart yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan user. Berdasarkan analisis pada skripsi ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metadata dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah dalam pembuatan chart pada dashboard. The bad interface of dashboards visualization can confuse the reader, even the user can get wrong conclusions. Therefore, good design and quick access to the database are one of requirements to make the good dashboard. To overcome these problems, in this thesis conducted an analysis of the car sales in PT Adira Finance. Dashboard in this thesis uses metadata that retrieved from the database that is used to speed up the process of making charts in the dashboard. Dashboard will be generated by extracting metadata. One of metadata that can be used is the descriptive metadata. Descriptive metadata to be used in the manufacture of the dashboard serves to store data attributes, showing good design on the dashboard, and save the changes that occur in the visualization of each chart in the dashboard. Metadata for storing data attributes used to store the data structures used in the chart. Metadata to display good design serves to preserve the structure of the corresponding metadata in order to show good visualization dashboard. While metadata to save the changes useful visualization to save all changes made by the user to a chart in order to display the chart in accordance with the needs of the user. Based on the analysis in this paper, it can be concluded that the metadata can speed up and facilitate the making of the chart on the dashboard. Keywords : chart, dashboard, metadata
