Abstract

PT. BP is one of the leading providers of logistics services, construction and maintains facilities for the oil and gas company which established since 1987. This company has a vision to improve professionalism and integrity, for the future we will put effort continuously to become one of the leading service companies for mining, and oil & gas industries in local regional areas as well as global. With the vision, process qualification of human resources is to be the one of the most important for company to get a productive employee, In terms of selecting potential employee, the company has difficulty in recruitment applicants because the process is still done manually. Sometimes the applicants who do not match to criteria in a position can pass and they continue the next selection and also the applicants are admitted as employee in company so do not match as requirement of company. The solution given by author to solve the problems is by developing a computerized system that can help qualification process of employment to make decisions quickly and accurately. The system is offered using one of the methods of decision support system, which is TOPSIS method because the concept is simle and have efficient computation. This system system is is expected expected to to assist, facilitate, and minimize mistakes done by the recruitment team in the company for qualification processing to poduce quality human resources. BP merupakan salah satu perusahaan penyedia layanan logistik, kontruksi dan maintain fasilitas pelayanan untuk perusahaan minyak dan gas yang didirikan sejak tahun 1987. Perusahaan ini memiliki visi untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan integritas masa depan yang akan berupaya terus-menerus untuk menjadi salah satu perusahaan jasa terkemuka untuk bagian pertambangan dan industri minyak serta gas baik dikawasan regional maupun global. Dengan adanya visi tersebut, proses kualifikasi sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu hal yang terpenting bagi perusahaan untuk mendapatkan karyawan yang produktif. Dalam hal menyeleksi calon karyawan, perusahaan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyaring para pelamar karena proses masih dilakukan secara manual. Terkadang pelamar yang tidak memenuhi kriteria dalam posisi tertentu lulus dan dapat melanjutkan seleksi berikutnya bahkan bisa diterima menjadi karyawan di perusahaan tersebut sehingga tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Solusi yang diberikan penulis untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan adanya suatu sistem terkomputerisasi yang dapat membantu permasalahan proses kualifikasi calon karyawan untuk mengambil keputusan secara cepat dan tepat. Sistem yang ditawarkan menggunakan salah satu metode sistem pendukung keputusan, yaitu metode TOPSIS karena konsepnya yang sederhana dan komputasi metode tersebut efisien. Dengan adanya sistem tersebut, diharapkan dapat membantu, mempermudah dan meminimalkan kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh bagian rekruitmen perusahaan pada proses kualifikasi sehingga menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas.
