Abstract
Mountain climbing is an activity that has become a trend in the community in the last 5 years. Many people began to choose mountain climbing as an alternative choice to fill their days off, not only are young adults at this time mountain climbing can be done by all people from children to adults. And every mountain climbers must bring a Plastic Trash Bag to collect the garbage they produce during the climb, the use of the Plastic Trash Bag itself is contrary to nature conservation because the material is difficult to decompose. There are still many climbers who lack awareness of the dangers of plastic to the environment, so there are still many plastic waste found in the mountains. With that the purpose and purpose of writing this research report is to determine the effectiveness of the use of Plastic Trash Bag in mountain climbing. Keywords: Plastic Trash Bag, Plastic Trash, Mountaineering, Environment, Nature Conservation. Pendakian gunung merupakan kegiatan yang menjadi tren di masyarakat pada kurun 5 tahun terakhir. Mulai banyak masyarakat yang memilih pendakian gunung sebagai alternatif pilihan mengisi hari liburnya, tidak hanya remaja dewasa saat ini pendakian gunung bisa dilakukan oleh semua masyarakat dari mulai anakanak hingga dewasa. Dan setiap pendakian gunung para pendaki pasti membawa Trash Bag Plastik untuk menampung sampah yang mereka hasilkan saat pendakian, penggunaan Trash Bag Plastik sendiri menjadi hal yang bertentangan dengan koservasi alam karena materialnya yang sulit terurai. Masih banyak para pendaki yang kurang kesadaran akan bahaya plastik terhadap lingkungan, sehingga masih banyak pula ditemukan sampah plastik di gunung. Dengan itu maksud dan tujuan dari penulisan laporan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaa Trash Bag Plastik dalam pendakian gunung. Kata kunci: Trash Bag Plastik, Sampah Plastik, Pendakian Gunung, Lingkungan, Konservasi Alam.
