Abstract
The branch of “Healthy clinic and herbal drugstore” is located in Serpong, which concerns on selling herbal medicines. The more products can be sold, the more problem arise by then. It creates problem how to get product information fast, precise, and accurate. The objective of this application is to design system and database application of product management in order to determine entry and exit product correctly. This thesis introduces SDLC (System development life cycle), that analyzes running system through the interview and observation. The methods used in this paper are modeling tool flow map (flow chart document), DFD (data flow diagram), the data dictionary (dictionary data), while the development of database application tools uses MYSQL and PHP Programming. The testing of application is using Blackbox. The result test includes data items, data entry of products, expenditure product, and order product which can be stored into database and connected properly. This application can transmit minimum data of inventory and expiration date of product through sms. This application is useful to solve problems that happen in convenience store which using manual system. In the long term, this application can support overall store performance Keywords: inventory, interview, observation, flow map, DFD, data dictionary, blackbox testing, php, mysql. Toko Obat Herbal Klinik Sehat Cabang Serpong adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penjualan Obat Herbal. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah barang dagangan muncul permasalahan yaitu kesulitan untuk mendapatkan informasi pengelolaan barang yang cepat, tepat dan akurat. Tujuan dari perancangan aplikasi ini adalah merancang sistem dan aplikasi Database sistem pengelolaan data barang yang tepat, agar dapat mengetahui masuk dan keluarnya barang. Penulisan Skripsi ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem SDLC (Sistem Development Life Cycle). Analisis yang dilakukan adalah menganalisa sistem yang berjalan dengan Wawancara dan Observasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini dengan menggunakan alat pemodelan berupa Flow Map ( Bagan Alir Dokumen ), DFD (Data Flow Diagram), Kamus data (data dictionary) Sedangkan alat pengembangan aplikasi Database menggunakan MySQL dan bahasa pemograman PHP. Pengujian aplikasi dengan metode Blackbox, hasil pengujiaannya data barang, data pemasukkan barang, data pengeluaran barang dan data pemesanan barang dapat tersimpan kedalam Database dan terkoneksi dengan baik. aplikasi ini dapat mengirimkan data stok minimal dan kadaluarsa via sms. Aplikasi ini bermanfaat untuk membantu memecahkan beberapa masalah yang timbul selama menggunakan sistem manual serta menunjang kinerja toko.
