Abstract
ABSTRAK PT.OMI merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi komponen elektronik berupa swicth, relay, sensor. Salah satu operasional di PT. OMI adalah stamping production, didalamnya terdapat proses rivet manual yang menghasilkan produk komponen utama relay. Dari proses rivet manual, memiliki jumlah reject cukup tinggi yaitu rata-rata setiap bulannya 2,7%. Sedangkan target perusahaan adalah 1% setiap bulannya, jadi terdapat gap sebesar 1,7%. Metode Quality Control Circle dipilih untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang ada agar proses perbaikan tepat sasaran. Dari analisis diagram fishbone terdapat 3 akar masalah yaitu faktor manusia operator hanya melakukan pengecekkan diawal proses saja, faktor mesin disebabkan die height terlalu menekan sehingga menyebabkan jig miring, dan faktor metode disebabkan oleh pemasangan die tooling yang tidak tepat. Perbaikan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan 3 kali pengecekkan dalam satu proses, kemudian dibuatkan standart pressure die height agar tekanan stabil dan dibuatkan SOP baru sebagai pedoman dalam proses produksi sehingga dapat meminimalisir reject produk. Dari hasil perbaikan yang telah dilakukan, dapat menurunkan jumlah reject pada proses rivet manual dimana sebelum dilakukan perbaikan jumlah reject rata-rata 2,7% disetiap bulannya. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan jumlah reject turun menjadi 1,14% yang artinya terjadi penurunan kasus sebesar 1,56%. Ini sudah sesuai dengan target perusahaan yaitu rata-rata 1% di setiap bulannya. OMI is stamping production, in which there is a manual rivet process that produces the main relay component products. From the manual rivet process, the number of rejects is quite high, namely an average of 2.7% per month. Meanwhile, the company's target is 1% every month, so there is a gap of 1.7%. The Quality Control Circle method was chosen to analyze existing problems so that the improvement process is right on target. From the analysis of the fishbone diagram, there are 3 root problems, namely the human factor, the operator only checks at the beginning of the process, the machine factor is caused by too much pressure on the die height causing the jig to tilt, and the method factor is caused by improper installation of die tooling. Improvements were made by carrying out 3 checks in one process, then a standard pressure die height was made so that the pressure was stable and a new SOP was made as a guideline in the production process so as to minimize product rejects. From the results of the improvements that have been made, it can reduce the number of rejects in the manual rivet process where prior to repairs the number of rejects averaged 2.7% each month. After repairs were made, the number of rejects fell to 1.14%, which means that there was a decrease in cases of 1.56%. This is in line with the company's target of an average of 1% each month.
