Abstract
ABSTRAK Konveyor merupakan alat yang dipakai hampir di semua bidang industri saat ini.Contohnya di perushaan batubara dalam pengoprasian konveyor mengalami permasalahan pada head pulley yang mengakibatkan mesin menjadi breakdown, dengan adanya kerusakan pada konveyor tentunya aktivitas produksi akan terganggu sehingga berdampak juga dalam pengiriman barang terhadap konsumen. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan identifikasi masalah terhadap part yang terdapat di dalam konveyor untuk dapat mengantisipasi kegagalan. Dalam penelitian ini objek yang digunakan adalah Prototype konveyor jenis belt. Dimana penelitian ini menggunakan metode FMEA untuk menentukan nilai critical part. Dimana RPN di dapatkan dari hasil Severity,Occurrence dan Detection yang masing-masing angka diperoleh dari hasil konsensus anggota tim. Hasil RPN menunjukan Pada urutan pertama nilai critical part terdapat pada head pulley dengan nilai total RPN yaitu 201,6 dengan presentase 18%. Dimana angka tersebut didapat dari severity 8,4 yang artinya semua sistem pendukung tidak akan berfungsi, occurrence 4,8 yang artinya beberapa kemungkinan kegagalan ada dan detection 2,2 yang artinya resiko dapat dicegah. Kata Kunci: Konveyor Belt ,FMEA,Critical Part,RPN ABSTRACT Conveyors are tools that are used in almost all industrial fields today. For example, in a coal company, in the operation of the conveyor, there are problems with the head pulley which causes the machine to breakdown, with damage to the conveyor, of course, production activities will be disrupted, which will also have an impact on the delivery of goods to consumers. Therefore it is necessary to identify problems with the parts contained in the conveyor to anticipate failure. In this study the object used was the belt type conveyor prototype. Where this study uses the FMEA method to determine the value of the critical part. Where the RPN is obtained from the results of Severity, Occurrence and Detection, each number obtained from the consensus results of team members. The RPN results show that in the first order the critical part value is found in the head pulley with a total RPN value of 201.6 with a percentage of 18%. Where the figure is obtained from a severity of 8.4 which means that all support systems will not function, occurrence of 4.8 which means that there are several possible failures and detection of 2.2 which means the risk can be prevented.
