Abstract
Wind energy is one of the renewable energy potentials that can make a significant contribution to the need for electrical energy. This wind energy generator, commonly called the Wind Power Plant (PLTB), is free from pollution and its energy source is available naturally in nature. From the research background above, research related to the horizontal axis wind turbine (TASH) will be carried out to develop a horizontal wind turbine prototype. The wind turbine used is a wind turbine with four spiral blades. The aim of this research is to verify and investigate the performance of TASH related to the Solidity Number of spiral angles and the number of blades it applies. TASH performance is assessed by measured parameters such as voltage value, generator output current and torque value, as well as non-dimensional parameters such as power coefficient (
