Abstract
Resort hotels are hotels that are usually located outside the city, in the mountains, on the edge of the beach, on the edge of the lake or in the area of vacation / recreation that provides overnight facilities to people who are on vacation in a relatively long period of time, the facilities provided vary more relaxed, informal and fun. Communities in cities / communities can generally spend time on vacation in a tourist attraction, but sometimes the facilities and infrastructure facilities for a tourist attraction such as a hotel or restaurant do not accommodate its scope. For example, the Java region is actually quite a lot of tourism objects, but because it has not been maximized by its management (both in terms of nature and supporting facilities), the tourism object cannot yet meet the maximum visitor target. So with the idea of realizing a Resort Hotel with the theme "Modern Tropicalm" in the North Jakarta, hopefully it can attract the interest of visitors both from within the city (Jakarta) itself and from outside the city with all supporting facilities tailored to the surrounding natural conditions, so that give satisfaction to service for visitors both in terms of interior design, type of equipment, equipment and quality, guest rooms, facilities and services, employees and even maintenance. Hotel resort adalah hotel yang biasanya terletak di luar kota, di pegunungan, di tepi pantai, di tepi danau atau di daerah tempat berlibur / rekreasi yang memberikan fasilitas menginap kepada orang yang sedang berlibur dalam jangka waktu yang relatif lama, fasilitas yang disediakan agak beragam, lebih rileks, informal dan menyenangkan. Masyarakat di kota-kota / masyarakat mampu pada umumnya sering menghabiskan waktu berliburnya di suatu obyek wisata, namun terkadang fasilitas sarana dan prasarana kelengkapan suatu obyek wisata seperti hotel atau restoran kurang mewadahi lingkupnya. Sebagai contoh si daerah Jawa sebenarnya obyek wisata yang ada cukuplah banyak namun karena belum termaksimalkan pengelolanya (baik dari segi alam atau fasilitas penunjang) maka obyek wisata tersebut belum dapat memenuhi target pengunjung yang maksimal. Maka dengan adanya ide untuk merealisasikan Hotel Resort dengan Tema “Modern Tropicalm” di daerah Utara Jakarta semoga mampu menarik minat para pengunjung baik dari dalam kota (Jakarta) itu sendiri maupun dari luar kota dengan segala fasilitas penunjang yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi alam sekitar, sehingga dapat memberikan kepuasan pelayanan bagi pengunjung baik dari segi desain interior, jenis perlengkapan, peralatan dan mutunya, kamar tamu, fasilitas dan servis, karyawan bahkan sampai pemeliharaan.
