Abstract

The injector on the vehicle is an equator that serves as a door at the end of the injection system to remove fuel from the system into the intake manifold chamber. The function of the injector is to remove gasoline from the fuel line by a certain amount to replace the carburetor. The injector is often damaged, affecting the combustion process. To overcome this, vibration analysis is done by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method. The use of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method has been widely used in the analysis of damage to the components of the piston motor. It is necessary to improve science in the field of predictive maintenance by using a new method, namely Wavelet Transform .The purpose of this study was to obtain the value of the frequency of normal and damaged injectors on the piston motor by using the FFT method and to obtain the value of the stiffness of the injector spring by using the wavelet trasform method on the piston motor. This study uses the FFT and wavelet trasform method with variations of 900 rpm, 2000 rpm, 4000rpm, 6000 rpm including amplitude values and spring stiffness values on the injector, the results obtained frequency of vibration signals that appear on the injector with a variation of 900 rpm rotation with a frequency value of 49 Hz and amplitude of and 7.14859 mm/s2 for data 2. While data 1 obtained a frequency of 52 Hz and an amplitude of 4.61038 mm/s2, with a variation of 2000 rpm rotation with a frequency value of 63 Hz and an amplitude of 108.011 mm / s2 for data 2. While data 1 obtained a frequency of 50 Hz and amplitude of 49.6222 mm/s2, with a variation of 4000 rpm rotation with a frequency value of 6 Hz and amplitude of 346.845 mm / s2 for data 2. While data 1 obtained a frequency of 6 Hz and an amplitude of 115.1655 mm/ s2, with a variation of 6000 rpm rotation with a frequency value of 8 Hz and an amplitude of 529.134 mm / for data 2.
