Abstract

In a project development is must to do an economic analysis in first, so that the target is desired by the manager. Especially, in terms of economics. In this case, the construction of the freight train line is managed by the government so it needs to be assessed for its feasibility. In this study the author tries to analyze the feasibility of developing this Railway Line in terms of economy and long-term investment with NPV, IRR, BCR, and PP calculation methods. The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not the railway line is built. Because if it does not cause investment, it will harm various parties. The results of the research, the calculation component shows the criteria that the development is worthy to be implemented. Where the results for BCR = 55.60% > 1; NPV = Rp29.193.360.000.000 > 0; IRR = 4.25% > MARR; and PP = Year 13, 1.416 month < n. Keywords: Investment, BCR, NPV, IRR, PP, Railroad Dalam sebuah pembangunan proyek perlu diadakan analisa ekonomi terlebih dahulu agar tercapai nya target yang diinginkan oleh pihak pengelola. Khususnya, dari segi ekonomi. Pada kasus ini, pembangunan jalur kereta api barang ini dikelola oleh pemerintah sehingga perlu di kaji kelayakan nya. Pada penelitian ini penulis mencoba untuk menganalisa kelayakan pembangunan Jalur Kereta Api Barang ini dari segi ekonomi dan investasi jangka panjang dengan metode perhitungan NPV, IRR, BCR, dan PP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui layak atau tidak jalur kereta api barang ini di bangun. Karena jika tidak menimbulkan investasi maka akan merugikan berbagai pihak. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, komponen – komponen perhitungan menunjukan kriteria bahwa pembangunan ini layak untuk dilaksanakan. Dimana hasil untuk BCR = 55.60% > 1 ; NPV = Rp.29.193.360.000.000 > 0 ; IRR = 4,25% > MARR ; dan PP = tahun ke – 13, 1,416 bulan < n. Kata kunci : Investasi, BCR, NPV, IRR, PP, Kereta Api
