Abstract
As time goes by, the selection of media in an effective message delivery strategy is very important. Education media in Indonesia continue to develop creatively and attractively. One of the educational media that is often used is video motion graphics. Various research results show several problems regarding emotions in adolescents. Meanwhile, teens with low emotional literacy have potential problems in behavior. The lower the emotional literacy the higher the tendency for bullying behavior in students. Teacher guidance and counseling has a role to help students in personal, social, learning, and career aspects. Classical guidance services in conveying information to students need to use media to make it more interesting and not boring. The media used by the counseling guidance teacher is still lacking in variety, it is necessary to use other media. One of the media that can be used in classical guidance services is motion graphic video. Therefore, the writer made this motion graphic video design so that it would be an informative educational media about emotional literacy in adolescents that would affect the target users. Keywords: Motion graphic, Emotional literacy, adolescents Seiring perkembangan zaman, pemilihan media dalam strategi penyampaian pesan yang efektif menjadi sangat penting. Media edukasi di Indonesia terus berkembang secara kreatif dan menarik. Salah satu media edukasi yang kerap digunakan adalah video motion graphic. Berbagai hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa permasalahan mengenai emosi pada remaja. Sementara itu, remaja dengan literasi emosi rendah memiliki potensi permasalahan dalam perilaku. Semakin rendah literasi emosi semakin tinggi kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada peserta didik. Guru bimbingan dan konseling mempunyai peranan untuk membantu peserta didik dalam aspek pribadi, sosial, belajar, dan karir. Layanan bimbingan klasikal dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada peserta didik perlu menggunakan media agar lebih menarik dan tidak membosankan. Media yang digunakan oleh guru bimbingan konseling masih kurang beragam, perlu adanya penggunaan media lainnya. Salah satu media yang bisa digunakan dalam layanan bimbingan klasikal adalah video motion graphic. Oleh karena itu penulis membuat perancangan video motion graphic ini supaya menjadi media edukasi yang bersifat informatif tentang literasi emosi pada remaja yang akan berpengaruh pada target pengguna.
