Abstract

Creativity is increasingly being emphasized in academia and industry. More than 50 years of research in creativity shows that creativity is the key to product and service innovation. However, there are almost no comprehensive reviews dedicated to assessing complex constructs of creativity, underlying cognitive processes, and the role of creativity in product development. The role of creativity in ergonomic design to build conceptual models of product development is very important. The ergonomics creativity framework was developed to highlight the central role of creativity in addressing four dimensions of ergonomic design: functionality, safety, usability, and effectiveness. So through ergonomics theory and data analysis, a special jacket product for cyclists is made. The creative design process is goal oriented and begins with active problem discovery and problem formulation. In this case the designer found a problem while cycling in the dark. And the solution to the problem is to use polyflex screen printing techniques made from phosphorus because as we known that phosphorus is a material that can be lit in the dark, and the designer also makes an design that can provide additional value to the product, which further affects consumer behavior, namely by minimizing movement the body when going to drink while pedaling a bicycle with the availability of drinking bags to put a water bladder bag located in the lower waist area in the inside of a jacket. Lebih dari 50 tahun penelitian dalam kreativitas menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas adalah kunci untuk inovasi produk dan layanan. Namun demikian, hampir tidak ada ulasan komprehensif yang didedikasikan untuk menilai konstruk kreativitas yang kompleks, proses kognitif yang mendasarinya, dan peran kreativitas dalam pengembangan produk. Peran kreativitas dalam desain ergonomis untuk membangun model konseptual pengembangan produk sangatah penting. Kerangka kerja kreativitas ergodesain dikembangkan untuk menyoroti peran sentral kreativitas dalam menangani empat dimensi desain ergonomis: fungsionalitas, keselamatan, kegunaan, dan efektivitas. Maka melalui teori ergonomi dan data analisa dibuatlah sebuah produk jaket khusus untuk pesepeda. Proses desain kreatif berorientasi pada tujuan dan diawali dengan penemuan masalah aktif dan perumusan masalah. Pada kasus ini perancang menemukan pemasalahan saat sedang bersepeda dalam gelap. Dan pemecahan masalahnya ialah dengan menggunakan teknik sablon polyflex berbahan fosfor karena dimana telah diketahui bahwa fosfor adalah bahan yang dapat menyala dalam keadaan gelap, dan perancang juga membuat sebuah ergodesain yang dapat memberikan nilai tambahan pada produk, yang selanjutnya memengaruhi perilaku konsumen, yaitu dengan meminimalisir pergerakan tubuh ketika hendak minum sambil menggayuh sepeda dengan tersedianya kantong minum untuk meletakan water bladder bag yang terletak pada area pinggang bawah di bagain dalam jaket.
