Abstract
ABSTRACT This study focuses on the description of the level of altruism on teachers and employees of SMA Sulthon Aulia. This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of altruism behavior that should be owned by teachers and employees of Sulthon Aulia High School. Altruism is considered important because it plays an important role in realizing the vision and mission of education at Sulthon Aulia High School. Altruism according to Myers (Myers, 2012) is a voluntary behavior that is carried out to improve the welfare of others without realizing it. There are three aspects of altruism, namely empathy, the will to give and volunteering. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The participants of this study were 61 teachers and employees of SMA Sulthon Aulia. Data collection was obtained using the Self-Report Altruism scale from Rushton. Data collection techniques will be carried out indirectly using google forms. Data processing using JASP application. Keywords: Altruism, school ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berfokus pada gambaran tingkat altruisme pada guru dan karyawan SMA Sulthon Aulia. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya perilaku altruisme yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh guru dan karyawan SMA Sulthon Aulia. Perilaku altruisme dinilai penting karena berperan penting dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi pendidikan di SMA Sulthon Aulia. Altruisme menurut myers (Myers, 2012) adalah perilaku sukarela yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan orang lain tanpa sadar. Ada tiga aspek dalam altruisme yaitu empati, keinginan untuk memberi dan sukarela. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 61 guru dan karyawan SMA Sulthon Aulia. Pengumpulan data diperoleh menggunakan Self-Report Altruism scale dari Rushton. Teknik pengumpulan data akan dilakukan secara tidak langsung dengan menggunakan google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi JASP. Kata Kunci: Altruisme, sekolah,
