Abstract

ABSTRAK Persaingan Industri yang semakin ketat membuat perusahaan harus mengelola bisnisnya seefisien mungkin. Untuk perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur, harus bisa menekan biaya, menjaga kualitas, serta meningkatkan kecepatan dan ketepatan dalam memproduksi produk – produknya. Pada penelitian ini permasalahan yang dibahas adalah metode kerja yang belum efektif membuat waktu produksi menjadi lama dan berdampak pada tidak terpenuhinya permintaan konsumen di PT Toyota Boshoku Indonesia khususnya pada produk air filter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui elemen-elemen gerakan yang dilakukan operator, menghitung waktu standar proses kerja dengan metode Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST), menghitung output standar yang dihasilkan dan menganalisa perbedaan waktu dan output standar antara sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan metode Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) didapatkan perbandingan waktu standar dan output standarsebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perbaikan. Output yang dihasilkan sebelumnya hanya 523 pcs per hari, setelah perbaikan mengalami kenaikan 19,3% menjadi 624 pcs per hari sehingga mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen. For companies engaged in manufacturing, they must be able to reduce costs, maintain quality, and increase speed and accuracy in producing their products. In this study, the problem discussed is in ineffective work method that makes production time long and has an impact on not meeting consumer demand at PT Toyota Boshoku Indonesia, especially for air filter products. This study aims to determine the elements of the movement carried out by the operator, calculate the standard time of the work process with the MOST method, calculate the standard output produced and analyse the difference in time and standard output between before and after repairs. After doing research with the MOST method approach, a comparison of standard time and standard output was obtained before and after repairs were made. The output previously produced was only in the range of 532 pcs/ day, after repairing it increased by 19,3% to 624 pcs/ day so as to meet consumer demand Keywords: Effectiveness, Working method, MOST, Improvement, Standard Time, Output
