Abstract
ABSTRAK Di dunia Industri Perusahaan era sekarang mulai banyak mengedepankan pembaruan sistem konvensional menjadi semi modern, modern dan otomatis. Tuntutan perusahaan dunia industri selalu ingin menghasilkan barang yang paling bagus untuk dikirim kan ke para pelanggan. Untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan baik dari perusahaan maupun dari para pekerja mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk menjaga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Tidak hanya menjaga kualitas pada saat produksi juga potensi dari luar terjadinya barang tidak bagus atau barang cacat. Seperti kondisi saat ini ketika hujan turun pintu gerbang (gate roling door) harus segera ditutup guna mencegah percikan air hujan masuk kedalam mengenai produk bagus yang berpotensi menjadi karat. Dan saat ini juga banyak perusahaan industri khususnya dibidang baja (steel) mengoperasikan gate rolling door masih menekan tombol yang terdapat pada tiap masing-masing gerbang sehingga kurang efisien waktu saat hujan sedah turun dan gerbang belum tertutup. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem monitoring dan pengontrolan untuk mengoperasikan gate rolling door dan sistem otomatis gate rolling door menutup saat hujan turun, lalu membuka kembali saat cuaca kembali cerah. Sistem ini sangat menguntungkan bagi pengawas atau operator yang bertugas dalam mengoperasikan dan lebih efisien terhadap waktu. Perancangan sistem dilakukan dengan sistem otomatis menggunakan sensor hujan (raindrop sensor), sensor inframerah yang memberi input atau masukkan ke Arduino Uno dan memberi sinyal ke aktuator atau keluaran seperti motor DC, buzzer, LED dan LCD sebagai monitoring yang memberi informasi terhadap kondisi gate rolling door secara real time. To achieve customer satisfaction, both the company and the workers have the responsibility to maintain the quality of the products produced. Not only maintaining quality at the time of production, there is also the external potential for bad goods or defective goods. Like the current condition when it rains, the gate rolling door must be closed immediately to prevent splashing of rainwater from entering into good products that have the potential to rust. And at this time, many industrial companies, especially in the steel sector, operating gate rolling doors, still press the button on each gate so that it is less time efficient when it is raining and the gate is not closed. Therefore, a monitoring and control system is needed to operate the gate rolling door and the automatic gate rolling door system closes when it rains, then reopens when the weather is sunny again. This system is very beneficial for supervisors or operators in charge of operating and is more efficient with respect to time. The system design is carried out with an automatic system using a rain sensor (raindrop sensor), an infrared sensor that provides input or input to the Arduino Uno and signals to actuators or outputs such as DC motors, buzzers, LEDs and LCDs as monitoring that provides information on the condition of the gate rolling door. in real time.
