Abstract

Curing process is a greentire cooking process from building become tire. At curing process has a part is greentire loader which function to hang up greentire and move it to bladder then did the process of shaping to form greentire be expands in order to be more easy to do press with mold before to a curing process. At the present time movement greentire process to bladder are still in spring manual use push button and selector that has been programmed with PLC Omron CJ1M-CPU12. The effect is caused by long process of shaping bladder that no wrapping and potential defect caused in part inner greentire or inner liner (Buckle Bladder) as requiring feeling of operator. In addition, the other effect is the cycle time of operator to handling greentire loader be long.So it needs a system modification in the greentire loaderby adding some proximity switch, separate solenoid valve, and change the PLC program. The result of the modification is success of a otomation function 99.94% and error 0.059% and reduced buckle baldder defect from May until early July 2019. In addition, cycle time the operation of greentire loader are getting faster and efficient in accordance of company standard is 2.23 minute. Keywords: Greentire Loader; PLC; Buckle Bladder Defect; Cycle Time Proses Curing adalah proses pemasakan greentire dari building menjadi tire. Pada proses Curing terdapat bagian yang bernama loader greentire yang berfungsi untuk menggantungkan greentire dan memindahkannya ke bladder kemudian dilakukannya proses shaping untuk membentuk greentire menjadi mengembang agar lebih mudah melakukan press dengan mold sebelum dilakukan pemasakan. Pada saat ini, proses pemindahan greentire ke bladder masih secara semi manual menggunakan push button dan selektor yang diprogram dengan PLC Omron CJ1M-CPU12. Efek yang diakibatkan adalah lamanya proses shaping agar bladder tidak melipat dan potensi mengakibatkan defect pada bagian dalam greentire atau inner liner (Buckle Bladder) karena membutuhkan feeling dari operator. Selain itu, efek lainnya adalah cycle time operator untuk handling greentire loader menjadi lama. Sehingga diperlukannya sebuah modifikasi sistem pada bagian greentire loader yaitu dengan menambahkan beberapa proximity switch, memisahkan solenoid valve, dan mengubah program pada PLC. Hasil dari modifikasi tersebut adalah keberhasilan fungsi otomasinya sebesar 99.94% dan error 0.059% dan berkurangnya defect buckle bladder dari bulan Mei sampai dengan awal Juli 2019. Selain itu, cycle time pengoperasian grentire loader menjadi lebih cepat dan efisien sesuai dengan standard pada perusahaan yaitu 2.23 menit.
