Abstract
The design of this prototype presents automatic volume control using the Wireless Sensor Network. The data needed in this system is the number of people in the airport waiting room with sensor components used for the detection process of the number of people in the airport waiting room. In designing this prototype, it was designed with the concept of Wireless Sensor Network for a detection system where Arduino will control a digital potentiometer based on the number of people in the room. If the sound signal that enters the arduino sound sensor is large, the microcontroller will be ordered to increase the volume of the sound which will be amplified in the active speaker with a volume level reaching 100% and the maximum in the waiting room reaches 25 people. Based on this system, an automation volume control in the airport waiting room was designed to maximize service in terms of information delivery. Keywords: Arduino, digital potentiometer, Infrared, Load Cell, Mic Condensor, Wireless Sensor Network. Perancangan prototype ini menyajikan pengendalian volume suara otomatis dengan menggunakan Wireless Sensor Network. Data yang dibutuhkan dalam sistem ini adalah jumlah banyaknya orang yang berada di dalam ruang tunggu bandara dengan komponen sensor yang digunakan untuk proses pendeteksian banyaknya orang di dalam ruang tunggu bandara. Dalam perancangan prototype ini dirancang dengan konsep Wireless Sensor Network untuk sistem pendeteksi dimana Arduino akan mengendalikan digital potensiometer berdasarkan jumlah orang di dalam ruangan. Apabila sinyal suara yang masuk ke sensor suara arduino besar, maka microcontroller akan memerintahkan untuk memperbesar volume suara yang nantinya akan diperkuat di speaker aktif dengan tingkat volume mencapai 100% dan maksimal dalam ruang tunggu mencapai 25 orang. Dengan di dasari sistem tersebut, maka dirancanglah sebuah prototype pengendali otomatisasi volume suara di ruang tunggu bandara untuk memaksimalkan pelayanan dari segi penyampaian informasi.
