Abstract

In the conditions of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic, notebook has became an item that is needed to do many things in Work From Home (WFH) conditions. However, in the use of notebook, there are several problems that’s experienced by the users. Indirectly diagnose were less effective because the information provided by the user is not exactly correct. Relevant knowledge is needed in order to know the conditions that is being experienced. To solve this, an expert system created. This expert system was created so it can became an expert assistant who can think like an expert or replacing an expert. The reasoning that being used can be interpreted as an inference engine. The inference engine that used on the expert system is forward chaining. Forward chaining is a reasoning that starts from symptoms (data-driven) until get the conclusion. The user can choose the symptoms from the conditions that’s they were experienced with and the conclusion will be shown. The conclusion can be given to the expert for repair. Key words: Notebook, Expert System, Forward Chaining, Waterfall Method, COVID-19 Dalam kondisi pandemi Virus Corona (COVID – 19) laptop menjadi suatu barang yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan banyak hal dalam kondisi Work From Home. Namun, dalam penggunaan laptop pasti nya terdapat kendala yang dialami. Diagnosa yang dilakukan secara tidak langsung kurang efektif lantaran informasi yang disampaikan oleh pengguna terhadap pakar tidak tepat sasaran. Dibutuhkan suatu pengetahuan yang relevan agar dapat mengetahui kondisi yang sedang dialami. Untuk menjembatani hal tersebut, dibuatlah sistem pakar. Sistem pakar yang dibuat ini agar dapat menggantikan pakar atau dapat menjadi asisten pakar yang dapat memiliki penalaran berpikir seperti seorang ahli. Penalaran berpikir yang digunakan dapat diartikan sebagai mesin inferensi. Mesin inferensi yang digunakan pada komponen sistem pakar yaitu forward chaining. Forward chaining merupakan penalaran berpikir runut maju yang diawali dari data yang ada (data-driven) hingga didapat sebuah kesimpulan. Dalam hal ini, pengguna dapat memilih gejala atau kondisi apa yang sedang dialami nya terhadap laptop yang digunakan. Setelah didapat sebuah kesimpulan, kesimpulan tersebut dapat diberikan kepada pakar guna diperbaiki lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: Laptop, Sistem Pakar, Forward Chaining, Waterfall Method, COVID-19
