Abstract

Administration of employee leave at Parks Department and the Urban Forest of Special Capital Region of Jakarta is still manual. Verify the balance of leave entitlement, leave request, as well as leave approval is submitted in stages and continues in the form of direct coordination with leave management officers. The leave administration process has several drawbacks. Lack of information regarding the remaining employee leave rights and the process of managing and recording employee leave history. This research proposes development of a web-based leave information system that uses the Laravel framework and a combination of Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), jQuery and Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and a local MySQL database. With this application, submitting requests for leave for employees becomes easier, minimizing the risk of errors in data writing and making it easier for employees to obtain information related to leave. In addition, employees can apply for leave anytime and anywhere, as long as they have adequate devices and are connected to the internet network. Key words: Civil Servant, MySQL, Leave employee Penatausahaan cuti pegawai di kantor Dinas Pertamanan dan Hutan Kota Provinsi DKI Jakarta masih bersifat manual. Verifikasi saldo hak cuti, permintaan cuti, serta persetujuan cuti diajukan secara bertahap dan berlanjut dalam bentuk koordinasi langsung dengan petugas pengelola cuti. Proses penatausahaan cuti tersebut memiliki beberapa kelemahan. Kurangnya informasi terkait sisa hak cuti pegawai dan proses pengurusan dan perekaman riwayat cuti pegawai. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pembangunan sistem informasi cuti yang berbasis web yang menggunakan framework laravel dan kombinasi dari Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), jQuery dan Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) dan basis data lokal MySQL. Dengan aplikasi ini, pengajuan permohonan cuti para pegawai menjadi lebih mudah, meminimalisir resiko kesalahan dalam penulisan data dan memudahkan para pegawai memperoleh informasi terkait cuti, Selain itu para pegawai dapat mengajukan cuti kapanpun dan dimanapun, selama pegawai memiliki perangkat yang memadai serta terhubung dengan jaringan internet.
