Abstract
Workability of the coconut fiber reinforced concrete produced to be very low, it’s caused by the nature of coconut fibers that easily absorb water so that the composition of the water in the mixture is reduced which causes the workability to decrease. To help produce good workability, one of the superplastilicizer can be used, namely SIKACIM CONCRETE, which the aim of improving the workability in coconut fiber reinforced concrete and seeing it’s effect on compressive strengh. The reseach method was carried out by designing five variations of the mixture, by making cylindrical concrete samples to be tested for slump loss and conpressive strength. Slump loss testing is carried out periodically for 15 minutes until the initial binding time, and testing the actual compressive strength is carried out on concrete aged 7 and 28 days. Of the five mixed variations, namely 0.3% SP, 0.3% SP + SSK, 0.8% SP + SSK, 1.1% SP + SSK and 1.5% SP + SSK, the optimum and highest melting and compressive strength are in the dose variation of 1.5% SP + SSK. The worability of the 1.5% SP + SSK dose mixture variation resulted in a decrease of 16.5 cm in the first 15 minutes and the highest 28-day compressive strength influence of 47.27 MPa met the required compressive strength requirement. Serabut kelapa yang digunakan pada campuran beton serat menghasilkan beton dengan kelecakan (Workability) yang kurang baik, hal ini disebabkan karena serabut kelapa menyerap air yang ada pada campuran beton serat. Adapun SikaCim Concrete Additive mampu membantu mengurangi penggunaan air pada campuran beton 20% lebih baik, memudahkan proses pengecoran dan juga sering digunakan untuk keperluan beton bermutu tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan acuan standar ACI 211.1R-08 dan SNI 6468:2000 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan SikaCim Concrete Additive terhadap memperbaiki kinerja kelecakan (Workablity) dan pengaruhnya terhadap kuat tekan beton serabut kelapa mutu tinggi. Perencanaan campuran pada penelitian ini dibuat variasi campuran sebanyak 5 (lima) buah, yaitu Dosis 0,3% SP, Dosis 0,3% SP+SSK, Dosis 0,8% SP+SSK, Dosis 1,1% SP+SSK, dan Dosis 1,5% SP+SSK. Penggunaan SikaCim Concrete terbukti mampu memperbaiki kinerja kelecakan pada beton serat serabut kelapa pada perencanaan campuran 1,1% SP+SSK dan 1,5% SP+SSK. Pengaruh penggunaan SikaCim Concrete memberikan hasil kuat tekan yang baik dengan nilai tertingginya didapatkan pada kadar dosis 1,1% SP+SSK, dengan nilai kuat tekan yang dihasilkan sebesar 53,69 MPa pada umur 28 hari. Dengan persentase penambahan kenaikan nilai kuat tekannya sebesar 30,98% dari variasi campuran dosis 0,3% SP.
