Abstract
The delay in TAT (Turn Arround Time) or called aircraft maintenance time is very influential on aircraft operations and has an impact on operators. PT GMF Aeroasia Tbk is a company engaged in the MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) field of aircraft, there are problems with TAT delays, precisely at the base maintenance hangar 3. In the C-Check and D-Check projects in hangar 3, there are a total of 73 projects and 33 project maintenance of aircraft type Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, and Airbus A330-Neo has been delayed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of TAT delays and provide suggestions for improvements to the company using the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) and FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) methods. There are eight causes of lateness including, Late Material Arrival, Lack of Manpower, Less Experienced, Weak Communication, Tools, COPQ, Late Finding, and Troubleshooting. The Lack of Manpower factor is the biggest cause with a percentage of 24.2% with a sigma level value of 0.94. FMEA analysis states that the demand for late parts/components is the highest with an RPN value of 294. Improvements are made using the 5W+1H method to parse problems and produce correct problem fixes. Based on the biggest problem, this study proposes to companies to limit the time of material requests in the operational test phase so that there is no waiting time that affects TAT delays. Keywords: TAT, Delay, Airbus, DMAIC, FMEA Keterlambatan TAT (Turn Arround Time) atau disebut waktu pemeliharaan pesawat udara sangat berpengaruh terhadap operasional pesawat dan berdampak kerugian terhadap operator. PT GMF Aeroasia Tbk merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) pesawat udara terdapat permasalahan keterlambatan TAT tepatnya di base maintenance hangar 3. Dalam project C-Check dan D-Check yang ada di hangar 3, total terdapat 73 project dan 33 project pemeliharaan pemeliharaan pesawat tipe Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300 dan Airbus A330-Neo mengalami keterlambatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penyebab keterlambatan TAT serta memberikan usulan perbaikan kepada perusahaan menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) dan FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis). Terdapat delapan penyebab keterlabatan diantaranya, Late Material Arrival, Lack of Manpower, Less Experienced, Weak Communication, Tools, COPQ, Late Finding, dan Troubleshooting. Faktor Lack of Manpower menjadi penyabab terbesar dengan presentase 24,2% dengan nilai level sigma 0,94. Analisis FMEA menyatakan bahwa permintaan part/component yang terlambat merupakan yang tertinggi dengan nilai RPN sebesar 294. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan metode 5W+1H untuk mengurai permasalahan dan menghasilkan perbaikan masalah yang tepat. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang paling besar, penelitian ini memberikan usulan kepada perusahaan untuk pembatasan waktu permintaan material pada fase operational test agar tidak terjadi waktu tunggu yang mempengaruhi keterlambatan TAT.
