Abstract
Television is one form of audio-visual telecommunications media that functions as a medium of information and entertainment. Watching television becomes a daily activity when we want to relax and want to find entertainment that only exists on television. On television itself, there are many television stations that present entertainment programs that we can watch according to our wishes. From this, the authors are interested in providing knowledge that has been obtained while studying at Mercu Buana University, especially knowledge in the field of broadcasting, and also for the provision of students at SMK Negeri 2 South Tangerang city as a provision for students in grade 11 to carry out PKL (Field Work Practice) activities and are also ready to compete in the industrial world when they graduate from school. The author's role in this Final Care for the Country is to provide material about the program director of the live broadcast program in the Master Control Room (MCR), from production, production, to post-production in a workshop entitled "The Future Career Of Broadcaster". The results of this activity produced a talk show program with the title "NE2TLAKS" to provide an overview of a talk show production for students at SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Selatan City. Keywords: Television, Broadcasting, Program Director, SMK Negeri 2 South Tangerang City Televisi merupakan salah satu bentuk media telekomunikasi audio visual yang berfungsi sebagai media informasi dan hiburan. Menonton televisi menjadi sebuah kegiatan sehari hari disaat kita ingin santai dan ingin mencari hiburan yang hanya ada di televisi. Di televisi sendiri, ada banyak stasiun televisi yang menyajikan program - program hiburan yang dapat kita tonton sesuai dengan ke inginan kita. Dari hal tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk memberikan ilmu yang sudah didapat pada selama kuliah di Universitas Mercu Buana khususnya ilmu dalam bidang broadcasting, dan juga untuk bekal para siswa/i SMK Negeri 2 kota Tangerang Selatan sebagai bekal nanti siswa/i pada kelas 11 untuk melakukan kegiatan PKL (Praktik Kerja Lapangan) dan juga siap bersaing pada dunia industry ketika nanti lulus dari sekolah. Peran penulis pada Tugas Akhir Peduli Negeri ini memberikan materi mengenai program director pada program siaran langsung di ruang Master Control Room (MCR), mulai dari produksi, produski, hingga pasca produksi pada workshop yang berjudul “The Future Career Of Broadcaster”. Hasil kegiatan ini memproduksi program tlakshow dengan judul “NE2TLAKS” untuk memberikan gambaran suatu produksi talskhow kepada para siswa/i SMK Negeri 2 Kota Tangerang Selatan.
