Abstract
PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk is PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk is a sole company engaged in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhoul). The company provides a wide range of aircraft maintenance services and is the largest aircraft maintenance facility in Southeast Asia. There is waste in the aircraft maintenance process, especially in terms of lead time, which results in aircraft delays. Lean manufacturing by using a value stream mapping methodology to reduce waste. VSM aims to describe the flow of information and the physical flow of material from the entry of the aircraft into the Hangar to Release to Service. To describe Value added, Non-Value added, and Necessary Non-Value added activities using the Activity Mapping (PAM) Process which is then analyzed using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to find out the root cause of the flight delay and is described in the form of a Fishbone diagram so that obtained recommendations for improvement carried out by the 5W1H method. The results showed that the waste ranks from the largest to the smallest, namely Waiting at 47%%, Overproduction by 21%, Unnecessary Motion by 12%, Inappropriate Process by 9%, Transportation by 6%, Defect by 6% and Inventory by 0%. The result of waste with the largest percentage is Waiting. PT GMF AeroAsia, Tbk adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perawatan, perbaikan, dan overhaul (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhoul). Perusahaan ini menyediakan berbagai layanan perawatan pesawat dan merupakan fasilitas perawatan pesawat terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Terdapat pemborosan dalam proses perawatan pesawat, terutama dalam hal lead time, yang mengakibatkan keterlambatan pesawat. Lean manufacturing dengan menggunakan metodologi pemetaan aliran nilai (value stream mapping) untuk mengurangi pemborosan. VSM bertujuan untuk menggambarkan aliran informasi dan aliran fisik material mulai dari masuknya pesawat ke Hangar hingga Release to Service. Untuk menjabarkan aktivitas Value added, Non-Value added, dan Necessary Non-Value added menggunakan Proses Activity Mapping (PAM) yang kemudian di analisa dengan menggunakan Root cause analysis (RCA) untuk mengetahui akar permasalahan penyebab delay pesawat dan digambarkan dalam bentuk Fishbone diagram sehingga didapatkan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dilakukan dengan metode 5W1H. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peringkat waste mulai dari terbesar sampai terkecil yaitu Waiting sebesar 47%%, Overproduction sebesar 21%, Unnecessary Motion sebesar 12%, Inappropriate Process sebesar 9%, Transportation sebesar 6%, Defect sebesar 6% dan Inventory sebesar 0%. Hasil waste dengan persentase terbesar adalah Waiting.
