Abstract
PT. Refinery Area Maintenance Building. PERTAMINA REFINERY Unit III Plaju has a problem, namely the lack of clean water for workers for their daily needs, therefore identification and design of the piping system are carried out. By using the method of field studies and the application of formulas related to the piping system and includes pump calculations. The calculated piping system is the piping system from the water storage tank above to the water tank inside the building. In determining the type and specifications of the pump to be used in the building, it includes the required water discharge, determining the capacity of the components to be used, such as the capacity of the water tank in the building and the total head of the piping system. At a water level of 180 cm the water discharge is 0.00005 m3/s, the pressure loss of 1 inch pipe is 15633,888 N/m2 and the pressure loss of the INCH pipe is 1954,956 N/m2, while at the water level of 180 cm the flow rate is Water is 0.0000124 m2/s, pressure loss for 1 inch pipe is 12702.454 N/m2 and pressure loss for inch pipe is 1954,916 N/m2. Based on the calculation results, the required water discharge is 0.000005 m3/s and the total head that occurs is 8.792 m. The results of the analysis of water demand prediction calculations and predictions of water discharge capacity of the PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju Refinery Maintenance Building, to meet the shortage of clean water needs, several efforts need to be made, Replacing pumps that are starting to run weak to maintain stable water flow, Redeveloping (developing ) and maintenance carried out regularly, reducing the level of leakage that occurs in the distribution network. The results of the calculation of systems and pumps that are already available, the authors provide suggestions for pump maintenance, if there is damage and must be replaced, the pump can be replaced using a pump type 40 x 32A2 - 50.75. PERTAMINA REFINERY Unit III Plaju terdapat permasalahan yaitu kurangnya ketersediaan air bersih para perkerja untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari, maka dari itu dilakukan identifikasi dan dilakukan perancangan sistem perpipaan. Dengan menggunakan metode studi lapangan serta penerapan rumus-rumus yang berhubungan dengan sistem pemipaan dan mencakup perhitungan pompa. Sistem perpipaan yang dihitung adalah sistem pemipaan dari tangki penampungan air diatas menuju ke bak air yang di didalam gedung. Dalam menentukan jenis dan spesifikasi pompa yang akan digunakan pada gedung tersebut meliputi debit air yang dibutuhkan, menentukan kapasitas komponen–komponen yang akan digunakan seperti, kapasitas tangki air di gedung dan head total pada sistem pemipaan. Pada level ketinggian air 180 cm debit air adalah 0.00005 m3/s, pressure loss pipa 1 ½ inchi adalah 15633,888 N/m2 dan pressure los pipa ½ INCH adalah 1954,956 N/m2, sedangkan pada level ketinggian air 180 cm debit aliran air adalah 0,0000124 m2/s, pressure loss pipa 1 ½ inchi adalah12702,454 N/m2 dan pressure loss pipa ½ inchi adalah 1954,916 N/m2. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, debit air yang dibutuhkan 0,00005 m3/s dan head total yang terjadi sebesar 8,792 m. Hasil analisis perhitungan prediksi kebutuhan air dan prediksi kapasitas debit air Gedung Maintenance Area Kilang PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju, untuk memenuhi kekurangan kebutuhan air bersih, perlu dilakukan beberapa upaya, Mengganti pompa yang mulai lemah daya kerjanya untuk menjaga kestabilan debit air, Redeveloping (mengembangkan) dan perawatan yang dilaksanakan secara berkala., Mengurangi tingkat kebocoran yang terjadi pada jaringan distribusi. Hasil dari perhitungan sistem dan pompa yang sudah tersedia, penulis memberikan saran untuk pemeliharaan pompa, apabila terjadi kerusakan dan harus dilakukan penggantian, maka pompa dapat diganti menggunakan pompa tipe 40 x 32A2 – 50,75.
