Abstract
Lean is an effort made to prevent and eliminate waste so as to increase the added value of products for consumers. The development of the manufacturing industry is increasingly experiencing the development and improvement of technology and information systems. Companies must focus on providing the best service to their customers. Every company strives to create an efficient production process. An inefficient production process can lead to waste. PT NGK Busi Indonesia is a company engaged in the automotive industry, so that high production demands require machines to work well with maximum quality. But the reality is that during the production process the target has never been achieved, therefore it is necessary to increase the output of the production machine so that efficiency can be achieved. Based on data from the company, the part that never reached the target was the manual assembly line with an average production of ± 1.1 million pcs / month and an efficiency of 75.31%. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative and Lean Manufacturing - VSM method. The results are (1) Improvements determined using the 5W1H table, (2) An increase in efficiency of 7.03% due to improvements that have been made, and (3) Current Value Stream Mapping and Future Value Stream Mapping Results Keywords: Efficiency, Lean Manufacturing, Value Steam Mapping Lean merupakan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah serta menghilangkan pemborosan sehingga bisa meningkatkan nilai tambah produk untuk konsumen. Perkembangan dunia industri manufaktur semakin banyak mengalami perkembangan dan peningkatan teknologi dan sistem informasi. Perusahaan harus fokus memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik untuk pelanggannya. Setiap perusahaan berusaha untuk menciptakan proses produksi yang efisien. Proses produksi yang tidak efisien dapat mengakibatkan munculnya waste (pemborosan). PT NGK Busi Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri otomotif, sehingga tingginya permintaan produksi mengharuskan mesin bekerja dengan baik dengan kualitas yang maksimal. Tetapi kenyataan pada saat proses produksi target tidak pernah tecapai, oleh karena itu diperlukan peningkatan output pada mesin produksi agar efisiensi dapat tercapai. Berdasarkan data dari perusahaan, section yang tidak pernah mencapai target yaitu assembly line manual dengan rata-rata produksi sebesar ± 1,1 juta pcs / bulan dan efisiensi 75,31 %. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif dan metode Lean Manufacturing – VSM. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah (1) Perbaikan ditentukan menggunakan table 5W1H, (2) Terjadi kenaikan efisiensi sebesar 7,03% dikarenakan perbaikan yang telah dilakukan, dan (3) Hasil Current Value Stream Mapping dan Future Value Stream Mapping Kata Kunci : Efisiensi, Lean Manufacturing, Value Steam Mapping
