Abstract
Alat labelling botol digunakan untuk memudahkan pekerjaan pelabelan kemasan pada botol. Penggunaan alat labelling botol manual masih banyak dijumpai kekurangan yaitu penggunaan tenaga manusia untuk menempelkan label pada botol dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pelabelan botol bervariatif tergantung dengan kecepatan operator. Penelitian ini pada dasarnya meredesain alat, maka metode yang digunakan adalah metode VDI 2221 yang digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan material dan teknologi pada sebuah rancangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat labelling botol yang bekerja secara semi otomatis menggunakan metode VDI 2221 dan menganasila perbandingan waktu yang dihasilkan alat labelling botol semi otomatis. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh rancangan alat labelling botol yang bekerja secara semi otomatis menggunakan metode VDI 2221 yaitu varian II dari segi kekuatan varian II lebih bagus dari pada varian I dan III. Waktu pelabelan 5,0255 detik untuk alat labelling botol manual dan 3,0125 detik untuk alat labelling botol semi otomatis. Dengan efisiensi alat labelling botol semi otomatis 40,055 %.
