Abstract
it supports the successful entry and exit of ships. Cost effectiveness, the time that appears at the time of loading and unloading containers affects the efficiency and effectiveness in every job. Productivity at the container port is a measure of work at the container port which is correlated with the complexity of carrying out responsibilities over a long period of time. Therefore, services at container ports need to be managed properly, especially loading and unloading services using Quay Container Crane (QCC) equipment. Low effectiveness and productivity will have an impact on company losses. It is very important to maintain the effectiveness and productivity of QCC so that the company is successful in its business processes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and productivity of Quay Container Crane (QCC) performance through the OEE value (availability, performance, quality) and identify losses that affect the OEE QCC value. This study uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method which describes the Availability, Performance and Quality of Quay Container Crane (QCC). The population in this study were 14 units of Quay Container Crane (QCC) located at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT). While the sample technique taken in this study is purposive sampling where the samples taken by researchers are 8 QCC units. Based on the research results, the OEE value of Quay Container Crane during the period January – December 2020 is still below international standards. The low value of OEE is caused by the high value of losses that occur. The losses are due to performance efficiency, namely Reduced Speed Losses caused by lack of operator competence and skills from technicians, and Availability, namely breakdown caused by the instrumentation of the QCC not functioning properly, due to high vibrations from the spreader movement. The OEE QCC value can later be used as a KPI and as a standard for equipment values at PT JICT.
