Abstract

Design of metal fencing or steel fences to meet the security needs of properties such as homes and commercial buildings. The current gate is usually very difficult or burdensome for humans to use. In this study, a prototype design for a push gate automatic machine based on the Omron CP1E N30 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with a total I/O of 30 bits was designed. The analog command buttons are 6 mechanical switches connected to the PLC input, 2 limit switches as the limit for opening and closing the gate and a photoelectric sensor for object motion detection during the gate process, the input has a value of 9 bits, for processing logic instructions. These instructions are processed by the PLC according to Ladder Logic programmed by the CX-Programmer software and stored in the PLC memory. The microprocessor on the PLC processes analog to digital instructions, which then produces 3 bits of an output signal, 2 bits to execute the command to turn on the induction electric motor as the gate driver and 1 bit for the warning light. The user visually determines the selection of objects that cross the gate and presses the command button instructions based on that object on the control box. PLC processes the selected instructions and automatically activates the induction electric motor to drive the gate Keywords: Automatic Machine, PLC, CX Programmer. Perancangan metal fencing atau pagar baja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keamanan properti seperti rumah dan gedung komersial. Pintu gerbang yang ada saat ini rata-rata penggunaannya sangat meyulitkan atau membebankan manusia. Pada penelitian ini dibuat rancangan prototipe mesin otomatis pintu gerbang dorong yang berbasis Progammable Logic Controller (PLC) Omron CP1E N30 dengan total I/O 30 bit. Tombol perintah analog berupa 6 sakelar mekanis yang terhubung pada input PLC, 2 buah limit switch sebagai batas buka tutup gerbang dan sensor photoelectric untuk deteksi gerak objek saat proses jalannya gerbang, maka input mempunyai nilai 9 bit, untuk proses instruksi logika. Instruksi ini diproses oleh PLC sesuai Ladder Logic yang terprogram oleh software CX-Programmer dan disimpan pada memory PLC. Microprocessor pada PLC memproses instruksi analog ke digital, yang kemudian menghasilkan 3 bit sinyal output, 2 bit untuk mengeksekusi perintah menghidupkan motor listrik induksi sebagai penggerak pintu gerbang dan 1 bit untuk warning light. Pengguna secara visual menentukan pilihan objek yang melintasi pintu gerbang dan menekan tombol perintah instruksi berdasar objek tersebut pada kontrol box. PLC memproses instruksi yang terpilih dan secara otomatis mengaktifkan motor listrik induksi untuk menggerakan pintu gerbang. Kata Kunci: Mesin Otomatis, PLC, CX Programmer
