Abstract
ABSTRAKSI Augmented Reality sendiri adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan objek dunia maya dengan dunia nyata secara real time. Anak-anak lebih mudah memahami informasi dari media yang mempunyai sesuatu yang berbeda seperti Augmented Reality ini. Penulis bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi yang dinamis dan menarik. Metode pengembangan multimedia yang digunakan adalah metode Multimedia Deveploment Life Cycle (MDLC), dimana metode ini memiliki enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing dan distribution. Aplikasi pengenalan hewan Afrika ini dibuat dengan menggunakan software Blender dan Unity3D. Minimal sistem operasi android untuk menjalankan aplikasi ini yaitu Jelly bean (4.1) Dari hasil pengujian aplikasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari jarak 20 cm – 50 cm marker masih dapat terdeteksi dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Augmented Reality, pengenalan hewan afrika, unity3D, MDLC. ABSTRACT Augmented Reality itself is a technology that combines virtual world objects with real world in real time. Children more easily understand information from media that has something different like Augmented Reality. The author aims to create applications that are dynamic and interesting. Multimedia development method used is Multimedia Deveploment Life Cycle method (MDLC), where this method has six stages, namely concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing and distribution. This African animal recognition application was created using Blender and Unity3D software. Minimal android operating system to run this application that is Jelly bean (4.1) From the results of the application testing can be concluded that from a distance of 20 cm - 50 cm marker can still be detected properly.
