Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat pesat karena pemerintah ingin menerapkan teknologi 4.0 yang artinya adalah semua proses akan berbasis otomasi untuk menekan potensi kecelakaan kerja dan untuk menghemat waktu kerja. Loading facility overland prototype conveyor telescopic terdiri dari beberapa system peralatan yang berfungsi sebagai media pemindah material dari gudang ke truk. Penggunaan motor listrik sebagai motor penggerak yang dihubungkan dari kopling dan gearbox, yang kemudian memutar head pulley, dalam system belt dibantu dengan carrying roll, return roll, bend pulley, take up pulley dan take up unit. Dalam pelaksanaanya, prototype conveyor teleskopic sering mengalami permasalahan seperti kelebihan kapasitas angkut, kecepatan belt yang tidak sesuai, dll. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka perlu adanya analisis umur pakai belt yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa lama umur pakai dari belt conveyor tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung umur pakai belt yang berbahan PVC panjang 6 m, lebar 30 cm, serta tebal 0,25 mm dengan kecepatan 1500 rpm daya 0,5 Hp. The use of an electric motor as a motor that is connected from the clutch and gearbox, which then rotates the head pulley, in the belt system is assisted by the carrying roll, return roll, bend pulley, take up pulley and take up unit. In practice, telescopic conveyor prototypes often experience problems such as excess carrying capacity, inappropriate belt speeds, etc. Based on these problems, it is necessary to analyze the service life of the belt which aims to find out how long the service life of the conveyor belt is. The conclusion of this study is to calculate the service life of a belt made of PVC, 6 m long, 30 cm wide, and 0.25 mm thick with a speed of 1500 rpm with a power of 0.5 Hp.
