Abstract
ABSTRAK Nama : Ezra Septian NIM : 41515210005 Pembimbing TA : Sri Dianing Asri, ST, M.Kom Judul : Aplikasi Sosial DoCare Berbasis Android dengan Algoritma Knuth–Morris–Pratt Telepon genggam sudah bukan barang mewah lagi, bahkan teknologi ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan setiap individu di zaman yang serba teknologi ini. Bahkan versi canggih dari teknologi ini yang biasa disebut ponsel pintar ini sudah membantu atau memudahkan dalam pekerjaan, mencari informasi, bahkan bersosialisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan user untuk mencari yayasan panti sosial yang berada di sekitar area Jakarta dan Bekasi. Dengan menggunakan Firebase sebagai database yang bersifat realtime, dan mengimplementasikan algoritma Knuth–Morris–Pratt (KMP) untuk mempermudah pencarian. Knuth–Morris–Pratt (KMP) adalah algoritma string matching yang memiliki pola pencarian yang dimulai dari kiri kemudian bergeser ke kanan untuk mencocokkan string. Dalam penelitian ini, algoritma Knuth–Morris–Pratt (KMP) berhasil diimplementasikan ke dalam aplikasi, serta pengujian sistem dengan metode black box telah menunjukkan hasil yang baik, sehingga aplikasi dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Even the sophisticated version of this technology, commonly called a smart phone, has helped or facilitated work, seeking information, even socializing. This study aims to make it easier for users to find social care foundations around the Jakarta and Bekasi areas. By using Firebase as a realtime database, and implementing the Knuth – Morris – Pratt (KMP) algorithm to facilitate search. Knuth – Morris-Pratt (KMP) is a string matching algorithm that has a search pattern that starts from the left then moves right to match the string. In this study, the Knuth – Morris – Pratt algorithm (KMP) was successfully implemented into the application, and the system testing with the black box method showed good results, so the application could run as expected.
