Abstract
The development of the economy and business in recent years has experienced very rapid growth. With the increase in the economic side, market demand in the industry for the need for goods and services is also increasing. This makes busi- ness people demanded to be able to innovate both in planning or providing goods and services. With these various improvements, this pressure will certainly have a profound effect on supply chain management. Supply Chain is a supply chain management activity that involves suppliers or suppliers to consumers in which there is flow, transformation, information and finance. The goal of supply chain management is to align demand and supply as effectively and efficiently as possi- ble. After the company has gained strategic competitiveness and successfully ex- ploited its competitive advantage, a company is able to achieve its main objective, namely earning above average profits. Keywords : Supply Chain Management, distribution, management, economy, information Perkembangan ekonomi dan bisnis dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Dengan meningkatnya sisi ekonomi, permintaan pasar dalam industri akan kebutuhan barang maupun jasa juga semakin meningkat. Hal ini, membuat para pelaku bisnis dituntut untuk bisa berinovasi baik dalam perencanaan atau penyediaan barang maupun jasa. Dengan adanya berbagai peningkatan tersebut, maka tekanan tersebut tentunya akan sangat berpengaruh pada manajemen rantai pasok. Supply Chain adalah kegiatan manajemen rantai pasok yang melibatkan supplier atu pemasok sampai ke tangan konsumen yang didalamnya terdapat aliran, transformasi, informasi dan keuangan. Tujuan management rantai pasokan adalah dengan menyelaraskan permintaan dan penawaran seefektif dan seefisien mungkin. Setelah perusahaan mendapatkan daya saing yang strategis dan sukses mengekploitasi keunggulan persaingannya, suatu perusahaan mampu mencapai tujuan utamanya yakni mendapatkan laba diatas rata-rata.
