Abstract
ABSTRAK Industri sekarang semakin maju dan banyak menggunakan electro motor sebagai penggeak setiap mesinnya untuk produksi industri tersebut. Kapasitor Bank merupakan sebuah komponen panel listrik yang dihubungkan secara paralel atau seri antara kapasitor bank satu dengan kapasitor bank yang lainnya untuk mengejar Kvar,untuk menghilangkan tegangan semu atau beban induktif disebabkan oleh sebuah belitan lilitan atau electro motor. Industri sangat berhati-hati dengan faktor daya.PLN telah menentukan nilai minimum dari faktor daya tersebut dengan nilai 0,85.Jika faktor daya konsumen dibawah 0,85 maka konsumen akan dikenakan denda.oleh karena permasalahan tersebut diperlukannya Kapasitor Bank. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini,ditemukan nilai rata-rata dari daya aktif yang efisien,daya semu yang efisien dan daya reaktif yang efisien. Hasil pada pengukuran nilai THD v dan THD i pada setiap phasa di kapasitor bank terdapat nilai THD yang melebihi standar IEEE 152-1992 yaitu 5% pada THD v dan 15% pada THD i. Kata kunci:electro motor,faktor daya,THD v,THD i ABSTRACT Industry is now increasingly advanced and many use electro motors as a driver for each machine for industrial production. Capacitor Bank is an electrical panel component that is connected in parallel or in series between one capacitor bank and another capacitor bank to catch up to Kvar, to eliminate apparent voltage or inductive loads caused by a winding or electro motor. The industry is very careful with the power factor. PLN has determined the minimum value of the power factor with a value of 0.85. If the power factor of the consumer is below 0.85 then the consumer will be subject to fines. Because of this problem, a Capacitor Bank is required. Based on the results of analysis and testing conducted in this study, it was found that the average value of efficient active power, efficient apparent power and efficient reactive power. The results of the measurement of THD v and THD i values for each phase in the capacitor bank have a THD value that exceeds the IEEE 152- 1992 standard, namely 5% at THD v and 15% at THD i.
