Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF GENDER EQUALITY AWARENESS AND INTENTION OF DATING VIOLENCE ON EMERGING ADULTHOOD MEN NUR ANISA ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between gender equality awareness and the intention of dating violence in emerging adulthood men. The hypothesis proposed that there is a negative relationship between the scale of gender equality awareness and the scale of intentions of dating violence. Subjects in the study were emerging adulthood men. Subjects numbered 230 people. The technique used is purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods in this study are the scale of gender equality awareness and the scale of the intentions of dating violence. Data from the trial results obtained reliability of 0.880 for the gender equality awareness scale and a reliability of 0.908 for the scale of intentions of dating violence. The research data were analyzed using the Spearman's rho correlation technique and produced a correlation coefficient of -0.377. This means there is a negative relationship between awareness of gender equality and the intention of dating violence. Keywords: emerging adulthood men, gender equality awareness, intentions of dating violence HUBUNGAN KESADARAN KESETARAAN GENDER DAN INTENSI KEKERASAN DALAM PACARAN PADA LAKI-LAKI EMERGING ADULTHOOD NUR ANISA ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesadaran kesetaraan gender dengan intensi kekerasan dalam pacaran pada laki-laki emerging adulthood. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan negatif antara skala kesadaran kesetaraan gender dan skala intensi kekerasan dalam pacaran. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah laki-laki emerging adulthood. Subjek berjumlah 230 orang. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kesadaran kesetaraan gender dan skala intensi kekerasan dalam pacaran. Data dari hasil uji coba diperoleh reliabilitas 0,880 untuk skala kesadaran kesetaraan gender dan reliabilitas 0,908 untuk skala intensi kekerasan dalam pacaran. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman’s rho dan menghasilkan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,377. Hal ini berarti ada hubungan negatif antara kesadaran kesetaraan gender dan intensi kekerasan dalam pacaran.
