Abstract
This study discusses how the company's financial performance is based on EVA (Economic Value Added) and MVA (Market Value Added) methods, which are then to find out the financial performance of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk for the period 2012-2017 using the EVA and MVA methods. Data is obtained through observation with secondary data retrieval, namely the company's financial statements for the period of 2012 to 2017. Data analysis techniques use NOPAT, WACC, Invested Capital, Capital Charges, EVA, and MVA calculations The results showed that the EVA value of the company shows a positive value, which means that the company is able to increase the economic value of the company, where the value of operating profit obtained is still greater than the value of the funding fund. Then the MVA value of the company also shows a positive value, so the company is worthy of being a place to invest by investors Keywords : EVA (Economic Value Added), MVA (Market Value Added), financial performance. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana kinerja keuangan perusahaan berdasarkan metode EVA (Economic Value Added) dan MVA (Market Value Added) yang selanjutnya untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan PT HM Sampoerna Tbk periode tahun 2012-2017 dengan menggunakan metode EVA dan MVA. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dengan pengambilan data sekunder, yakni laporan keuangan perusahaan periode tahun 2012 hingga tahun 2017. Teknik analisa data menggunakan perhitungan NOPAT, WACC, Invested Capital, Capital Charges, EVA, dan MVA Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa nilai EVA perusahaan menunjukkan nilai positif, yang berarti bahwa perusahaan mampu menaikkan nilai ekonomi perusahaan, dimana nilai laba operasional yang diperoleh masih lebih besar dari nilai dana pembiayaannya. Kemudian nilai MVA perusahaan juga menunjukkan nilai positif, sehingga perusahaan layak dijadikan tempat untuk melakukan investasi oleh para investor Kata kunci : EVA (Economic Value Added), MVA (Market Value Added), Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan.
