Abstract
ABSTRAK Kemajuan ilmu teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini mulai mempengaruhi gaya hidup manusia. Kebutuhan manusia akan teknologi modern dan praktis menjadi lebih meningkat, salah satunya sistem pengendalian otomatis dunia industri. Salah satu pekerjaan yang akan diterapkan sistem otomasi adalah pembuatan lubang atau proses pengeboran (drilling). Proses pengeboran yang dilakukan dalam jumlah yang banyak dan dilakukan secara repetitive tentu saja sangat memungkinkan terjadi ketidaksesuian dari tuntutan atau standart yang diinginkan. Mesin drilling (bor) merupakan sebuah alat atau perkakas yang digunakan untuk melubangi suatu benda. Cara kerja mesin bor adalah dengan cara memutar mata pisau dengan kecepatan tertentu dan ditekan ke suatu benda kerja. Fungsi utama dari mesin bor adalah untuk melubangi benda kerja dengan ukuran-ukuran tertentu. Mesin bor terdapat dua jenis yakni mesin bor duduk dan mesin bor tangan. Mesin drilling dengan sistem otomatis berarti suatu alat yang dapat bekerja dengan sendirinya yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengkoreksi keadaan yang berbeda dari keadaan normal tanpa adanya intervensi dari manusia. Alat dengan kemampuan seperti ini bekerja dengan closed loop control system. Pada closed loop control system, hasil koreksi dari sistem closed loop kemudian dijadikan umpan balik (feed back) sehingga sistem terus bisa mengontrol objek yang dikontrol. Closed loop control system merupakan salah satu jenis control system dengan menggunakan kontrol PLC (Programmable Logic Control), Sensor Proximity sebagai pendeteksi logam dan Silinder Pneumatik sebagai aktuator atau perangkat mekanis yang menggunakan kekuatan udara bertekanan (udara yang terkompresi) untuk menghasilkan kekuatan dalam gerakan bolak – balik piston secara linier (gerakan keluar – masuk). The human need for modern and practical technology is becoming more increasing, one of which is the automatic control system in the industrial world. One of the jobs that will be applied to the automation system is the making of holes or drilling processes. The drilling process carried out in large quantities and carried out in a repetitive manner is of course very likely to occur in mismatches of the demands or desired standards. Drilling machine (drill) is a tool or tool that is used to perforate an object. The way the drilling machine works is by turning the blade with a certain speed and pressed into a workpiece. The main function of the drilling machine is to perforate workpieces with certain sizes. There are two types of drilling machines namely seated drilling machines and hand drilling machines. Drilling machine with an automatic system means a tool that can work by itself which has the ability to correct conditions that are different from normal conditions without any intervention from humans. Tools with this capability work with closed loop control systems. In the closed loop control system, the correction results from the closed loop system are then used as feedback (feed back) so that the system can continue to control the object being controlled. Closed loop control system is a type of control system using PLC (Programmable Logic Control) control, Proximity Sensor as a metal detector and pneumatic cylinder as an actuator or mechanical device that uses the power of compressed air (compressed air) to produce strength in alternating motion - turning the piston linearly (movement in and out).
