Abstract
Competency of the employee indicates the ability of a person behaves in various situations are quite consistent. Training is a short-term educational process that use a systematic and organized procedure which employees learn the knowledge and technical skills. Performance is the result of the work that can be achieved by a person or group within an organization in accordance of the authority and responsibility, within the the objectives framework of the respective organizations. This research objective is to analyze the extent of the competency and training affect the performance of employees at PSI. Analysis of research by multiple linear regression with independent variable competence and training and the dependent variable is employee performance. The population of this study were numbering 50 employee. Results showed that analytical competency is influent by employee performance with significance 0.000. Training effect on employees performance with significance 0.038, while competency and training jointly affect the employee's performance with significance of 0.000. The influence of all variables of the competence and training on employee performance is 73.0%. Recommendations from this research is that companies give more attention to increase employee competence and think the effective training program that targeted training programs can be achieved.Kompetensi seseorang mengindikasikan kemampuan berperilaku seseorang dalam berbagai situasi yang cukup konsisten untuk suatu periode waktu yang cukup panjang. Pelatihan adalah suatu proses pendidikan jangka pendek yang mempergunakan prosedur sistematis dan terorganisir dimana pegawai mempelajari pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis dan tujuan terbatas. Kinerja adalah hasil kerja yang dapat dicapai oleh seseorang atau sekelompok orang dalam suatu organisasi sesuai dengan wewenang dan tangung jawab masing- masing, dalam rangka upaya mencapai tujuan organisai bersangkutan Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sejauhmana kompetensi dan pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai di PSI. Analisis penelitian dengan regresi linier berganda, dengan variabel bebas kompetensi dan pelatihan serta variabel terikat kinerja. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pegawai yang berjumlah 50 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi secara analitis sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai (signifikansinya 0,000). Pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan signifikansi 0,038, sedangkan kompetensi dan pelatihan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan signifikansi 0,000. Pengaruh seluruh variabel kompetensi dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah 73,0%. Rekomendasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah agar perusahaan menaruh perhatian kepada upaya peningkatan kompetensi pegawai dan agar Perusahaan memikirkan program pelatihan yang efektif supaya kinerja pegawai dapat mencapai yang terbaik.
