Abstract
ABSTRAK Cloud Storage merupakan salah satu layanan penyimpanan data atau file yang memanfaatkan jaringan private maupun internet menggunakan sebuah perangkat yang bertugas sebagai server. Cloud storage dipilih untuk penelitian ini karena saat ini kebutuhan dalam hal penyimpanan data dan keamanan sebuah sistem penyimpanan semakin tinggi. Saat ini, beberapa layanan seperti Google Drive, Dropbox dan Microsoft One Drive memberikan layanan cloud storage secara gratis untuk dicoba dan jika membutuhkan penyimpanan lebih besar terdapat versi berbayar yang bisa digunakan. Namun layanan tersebut memiliki kelamahan, yaitu tidak adanya akses secara langsung ke perangkat penyimpanan yang mengakibatkan data yang tersimpan dikendalikan sepenuhnya di server penyedia layanan tersebut. Perangkat Raspberry Pi Versi 4 dipilih karena ukurannya yang relative kecil, harga yang lebih murah, serta kebutuhan sumber daya yang rendah, tetapi memiliki fungsi-fungsi utama sebuah komputer. Nextcloud sebagai perangkat lunak yang digunakan sebagai aplikasi penyimpanan, Nextcloud bebas dan opensource sehingga memungkinkan siapa saja untuk menginstal dan mengoperasikannya di server pribadi. Hasil pengujian menggunakan 4 user rata-rata penggunaan CPUnya 19.5% dan memorinya 3.2%. Kecepatan internet server untuk uploadnya 0.63 Mbps dan downloadnya sekitar 4.25 Mbps. Akses Jaringan private berkas berukuran 53.6 MB memerlukan waktu upload 34 detik dan diperlukan waktu 20 detik untuk download. Akses jaringan internet berkas berukuran 53.6 MB memerlukan waktu upload 6.2 menit dan diperlukan waktu 2.4 menit untuk download. Suhu maksimal yang dicapai pada CPU sekitar 40℃ selama pengoperasian 90 menit, dan konsumsi daya server cloud storage sekitar 5 watt. Kata Kunci: Cloud Storage, Server, Nextcloud, Raspberry Pi 4 ABSTRACT Cloud Storage is a data or file storage service that utilizes private or internet networks using a device that serves as a server. Cloud storage was chosen for this research because the current needs in terms of data storage and security of a storage system are increasingly high. At present, several services such as Google Drive, Dropbox and Microsoft One Drive provide free cloud storage services to try and if you require more storage there is a paid version that can be used. However, these services have weaknesses, there is no direct access to the storage device which causes the stored data to be fully controlled on the server of the service provider. Raspberry Pi 4 was chosen because of its relatively small size, lower price, and low resource requirements, but it has the main functions of a computer. Nextcloud as a software used as a storage application, Nextcloud is free and opensource so it allows anyone to install and operate it on a private server. The test results using 4 users an average of 19.5% CPU usage and 3.2% memory. Internet server speed for upload is 0.63 Mbps and the download is around 4.25 Mbps. Access private network with a file size of 53.6MB requires 34 seconds to upload and 20 seconds to download. Access internet network with a file size of 53.6MB requires a upload time of 6.2 minutes and a 2.4 minute time to download. The maximum temperature reached on the CPU is around 40 ℃ during 90 minutes operation, and the cloud storage server power consumption is around 5 watts.
