Abstract
Motivation and competence is a very important thing that should be owned by every employee in providing services and improve its performance. In Theoretical and practical work motivation and competence of employees impact the quality of service and employee performance. This study aimed to analyze and confirm previous research related to the influence of motivation and competence of employees to service quality and its impact on the performance of employees. The problems raised in this research, aims to determine how much influence the motivation and competence to service quality and employee performance. In this study proposed a theoretical model to test the hypothesis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis tool lisrel software. The sample in this study was 120 employees spread across work units at the Jakarta State University. The results of this study demonstrated that only 3 of the 5 most accepted hypothesis the hypothesis that affect service quality of employee competence, motivation affects employee performance and service quality affects the performance of employees. Keywords: UNJ, Work’s Motivation, Employees Competence, Service Quality, Employee Performance, SEM, lisrel Motivasi kerja dan kompetensi merupakan hal yang sangat penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap pegawai dalam memberikan layanan dan meningkatkan kinerjanya. Secara teoritis dan praktis Motivasi kerja dan kompetensi pegawai memberikan pengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkonfirmasi penelitian sebelumnya terkait pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kompetensi pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan dampaknya kepada kinerja pegawai. Masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kompetensi terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja pegawai. Dalam penelitian ini diajukan model teoritis untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat analisis software Lisrel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 pegawai yang tersebar di seluruh unit kerja pada Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa hanya 3 hipotesis yang diterima dari 5 hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu kompetensi pegawai mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan, motivasi kerja mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai dan kualitas pelayanan mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai.
