Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of work motivation, compensation, and work environment on employee performance. The population of this study are employees of PT Danareksa. After using convenience sampling method, total sample of 172 employees of bussiness unit and supporting unit departement were obtained. The data in this study were collected by using questionnaire and interview. The method of analysis used in this study was multiple linier regression. The results indicated that simultaneously, work motivation, compensation, and work environment have a significant effect on enployee performance. While partially, each of independent variable, namely work motivation, compensation, and work environment have significantly positive effect on employee performance. The effect of work motivation on employee performance was found to be the largest one. From the dimension analysis, dimension of work motivation, compensation, and work environment which found to have strongest relation with employee performance consecutively were intensity, non-financial compensation, and maintenance factor. Key words: motivation, compensation, work environment, employee performance Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh motivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Danareksa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Danareksa. Setelah menggunakan metode convenience sampling, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 172 karyawan pada bagian bisnis unit dan bisnis penunjang. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja, kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sementara secara parsial, tiap variabel independen, yaitu motivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Danareksa. Pengaruh motivasi kerja adalah yang paling besar di antara ketiganya. Dari analisis dimensi, diketahui bahwa dimensi motivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan lingkungan kerja yang memiliki hubungan paling kuat dengan kinerja karyawan secara berurutan adalah intensitas, kompensasi non-finansial,dan faktor pemeliharaan.
