Abstract
CORELATION BETWEEN COSMETIC USE BEHAVIOR TO SELF CONCEPT IN EARLY ADULT MEN Yuliani Nurmaulida, Riezka Awaliah Universitas Mercu Buana Jl. Raya Kranggan Jati Sampurna No.6 Bekasi ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the corelation between self concept and cosmetic use behavior in early adult men. This study uses a quantitative approach. Subjects in this study were male regular Mercu Buana. Sampling method using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study is 312 respondents. The measurement in this study used the self concept scale with Alpha Crombach value of 0.914 and cosmetic use behavior scale with Alpha Crombach value of 0.816. Data analysis techniques in this study are the secret test and normality test. The results of this study indicate a positif correlation between self concept and cosmetic use behavior of 0.080. Raya Kranggan Jati Sampurna No.6 Bekasi ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku penggunaan kosmetik pada pria dewasa awal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pria Mahasiswa Mercu Buana. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 312 responden. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala konsep diri dengan nilai Alpha Crombach 0.914, skala perilaku penggunaan kosmetik dengan nilai Alpha Crombach 0.816. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi dan uji normalitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan arah korelasi positif antara konsep diri dan perilaku penggunaan kosmetik sebesar 0.080. Kata Kunci: Pria Dewasa Awal, Konsep diri, Perilaku penggunaan kosmetik
