Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya aktivitas manusia dewasa ini, telah memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan terhadap keberadaan energi. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari dominasi penggunaan energi, yang sebagian besar merupakan energi sumber daya yang tak terbarukan, dalam banyak aspek aktivitas manusia itu sendiri. Krisis ini juga terjadi di Indonesia, khususnya masalah energi listrik. Energi listrik merupakan energi yang sangat diperlukan bagi manusia modern.Tidak dapat dibayangkan apa yang akan terjadi jika produksi listrik tidak sebanding dengan permintaan. Listrik padam dan semua aktivitas yang terjadi terhenti seketika, termasuk aktivitas ekonomi. Metodologi yang digunakan laboratorium research. Dalam tesis ini dirancang dan analisis sistem solar cell dual axis sun tracker berbasis Mikrokontroller ATmega 32 untuk pemanfaat intelligent lighting pada listrik rumah tangga dengan metode transmisi simplex communication pada sensor LDR terhadap gerak driver motor solar panel. Dari implementasi ini selanjutnya dianalisis dari aspek optimalisasi penerimaan input tegangan pada solar cell dan pada aspek biaya investasi untuk penggunaan teknologi energi alternatif tersebut. Tujuan dirancangnya sistem ini ialah mengimplementasikan Demand Side Management pada listrik rumah tangga yaitu dengan cara mengurangi energi yang digunakan pada waktu pemakaian peak. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan hasil uji coba sistem tersebut dalam menerima input tegangan pada solar cell dan implementasi pada intelligent lighting pada listrik rumah tangga. Hasil pengujian dan analisis diperoleh hasil penerimaan tegangan input pada solar cell secara optimal dan investasi biaya dalam teknologi energi alternatif ini sebanding dengan nilai / harga yang didapat, bahkan memiliki biaya yang lebih sejumlah 26.84 % dari biaya menggunakan suplay PLN, sehingga Demand Side Management berjalan dengan baik menggunakan metode Peak Clipping tersebut. Kata Kunci : Demand Side Management, Mikrokontroller ATmega32, Solar cell, Dual Axis Sun Tracker, simplex communication. The increasing human activities today, has impacted significantly on the presence of energy. This is not apart from the dominance of the use of energy, which is largely the energy non-renewable resource, in many aspects of human activity itself. This crisis also occurred in Indonesia, in particular the problem of electrical energy. Electrical energy is the energy that is necessary for modern man. Can not imagine what would happen if the electricity production is not comparable with the request. Power outages and all activities that occur stopped immediately, including economic activity. The methodology used laboratory research. In this thesis designed and analysis system of dual axis solar cell sun tracker based microcontroller ATmega 32 for utilizing intelligent lighting on household electricity transmission method simplex communication on the LDR to the motion sensor motor driver solar panels. Of this implementation are analyzed from the aspects of revenue optimization of input voltage on the solar cell and the aspects of the investment costs for the use of alternative energy technologies. The purpose of this is to implement a system he designed Demand Side Management in household electricity that is by reducing the energy used during peak usage. The analysis was performed based on the results of testing the system in receiving the input voltage on the solar cell and the implementation of the intelligent lighting on household electricity. Test results and analysis of the results obtained in the input voltage receipt optimum solar cell and the cost of investment in alternative energy technology is comparable to the value / price obtained, even have cost as much as 26.84% of the cost of using supply PLN, so the Demand Side Management runs with either using the Peak Clipping.
