Abstract

The purpose of this report is to explain about the planning and the design of type B hospital that designed to respond the issues about heart disease. With the Healing Environment approach that connected to patient psychology who not only hospitalized but also outpatient in this very type of hospital. This report using the application of space pattern, circulation, the concept of daylighting, the design of building mass that adjusted with the environment and the site footprint. The design of the hospital based on previous design precedents and the most important thing is the hospital guidelines that based on standards from the Department of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Data processing was divided by hospital class, the space design will be different for each room. It depends the activities of the user. The design plan process always focuses on two deciding factors: The function of the room and it maintenance. This report also stressed how Healing Environment concept has been applied on most hopitals in big cities, although there many hospitals that still not apply it yet. This building was designed with five floors and one basement with the integrated circulated system on it. The using of ACP (alumunium composite panel) material, laminated glass and several vines on the building exterior are very hand in hand with it main function which is as a hospital. It means the building resist the dust, pollution and extreme wheather condition on tropical climate. The interior using the concept of cleanliness by using the HPL (High Pressure Laminate) coating and vynil for each floor. Keywords: Heart Hospital, Healing Environment, patient psychology Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang proses perencanaan dan perancangan rumah sakit khusus bertipe B yang dirancang untuk menanggapi problematika terkait dengan penyakit jantung. Dengan pendekatan Healing Environment terkait psikis pasien yang dirawat inap maupun rawat jalan di rumah sakit ini. Penerapan pola ruang, sirkulasi, bukaan pencahayaan, serta rancangan massa bangunan yang juga disesuaikan dengan keadaan lingkungan serta tapak pada site bangunan. Perancangan bangunan rumah sakit ini juga berlandaskan preseden-preseden desain yang terdahulu dan yang paling utama adalah pedoman rumah sakit berdasarkan standar-standar dari dinas Departemen Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Pengolahan data dibagi berdasarkan kelas rumah sakit, kekhususan ruang dan juga proses kegiatan yang akan pengguna alami pada saat desain telah selesai nantinya. Proses rancangan desain pada saat operasional dan maintenance bangunan juga menjadi faktor pertimbangan yang penting. Menekankan pada konsep Healing Environment terkait psikis pasien sudah diterapkan pada semua bangunan rumah sakit komunal di kota-kota besar, walaupun masih ada sebagian rumah sakit yang jauh akan kesan itu. Bangunan ini didesain dengan lima lantai dan satu basement, yang keseluruhannya telah memfasilitasi aktivitas serta sirkulasi yang saling terintegrasi di dalam bangunan. Penggunaan material ACP (aluminum composite panel) serta laminated glass dan ada beberapa tanaman rambat pada bagian eksterior bangunan, sangat cocok dengan fungsi utamanya yakni sebagai rumah sakit, karena tidak menyimpan kotoran dan juga cukup kuat menahan cuaca yang beragam pada iklim tropis. Dan juga pelapisan HPL (high pressure laminate) serta pemakaian vynil pada lantai untuk bagian interior ruangan sebagai material yang bersih.
